- I ride my electric scooter from the base of the Mario M. Cuomo (New Tappan Zee) Bridge to Sleepy Hollow, NY. Sleepy Hollow was previously known as North Tarrytown, but was renamed in 1996. It is famous for the Legend of Sleepy Hollow by author Washington Irving. The Headless Horseman has its origins here, and I ride my scooter all the way to the Dutch Reformed Church and the Headless Horseman Bridge.

I'm really amazed how Washington Irving's eloquent writing from 1820 was able to draw international recognition for Sleepy Hollow. 🤩 Love it!! ❤ I recently read the story and watched the silent film "The Headless Horseman" (1922) starring Will Rogers. Can't help but feel bad for Ichabod Crane.

There were more decorated houses for Halloween up in Sleepy Hollow. I was there on the 23rd walking through that same residential area.

A lot of stores have been replaced i.e.,C-Town, Woolworths,Howland's and Baskin-Robbins.
There also a football field at Washington Irving High School too that I don't think is there Any more and that's quite a shame.

I'm not sure whether the e-scooter is allowed to ride on the pedestrian path, but I think riding it on the driveway is too dangerous.
Where I live scooters are allowed on the pedestrian paths. But if he drives in Europe, where we live atm, like he drives in the US, he’ll definitely get a ticket. (Running red lights, driving between cars, using right lanes only) actually as a car driver myself for over 20 years, this is horrible to see and I would be angry to have escooter drivers like him on my streets.
It takes a while to get used to riding in traffic. It can be more dangerous to ride it on the pedestrian paths.

As much as I like your scooter rides, you drive horrible 🙈 running red lights, driving between cars, driving on “turn right” lanes. I guess, you don’t drive a car?
It's the social norm to ride as such here in New York. I do drive a car when needed.
