    Coach Nick went deep into the footage to figure out why the Brooklyn Nets so abruptly fired head coach Steve Nash. Was it because of Kevin Durant? Kyrie Irving? Or his inability to mesh Ben Simmons' talent with theirs?

      I don't think Simmons likes basketball anymore, or he never liked it but now hates it. Simmons can definitely play a lot better on defense if he wanted to. Harden suddenly realized he will not get to play forever and wants to win a championship before retiring, but he partied too much for too many years and his ship has sailed. Yeah, good start to the season, and now predictably injured.
      Neither of these two can be stars on a contending team. Harden should come off the bench in limited minutes to try to keep him healthy. Simmons should retire and pursue his true passion of stamp collecting or whatever it is.

    You just need to know that despite all the turmoils from the get go, the Nets initially played well under Nash, nobody was really confident 3 heavy usage players could coexist but they played really well, Harden showed a different type of game with less dribbling, Kyrie became more of a scorer, KD was helping distributing, so it’s hard to blame Nash as the scape goat when none of the “super stars” seem to care for anything other than their offensive numbers.

    • @smoothsavage2870
      @smoothsavage2870 Před rokem +1

    • @peteraudu4554
      @peteraudu4554 Před rokem

      It would be good for the Nets but bad for the Warriors. Draymond is an actual playmaker. So he'd take some pressure off KD with his passing in the half-court. You wouldn't be seeing KD throw the ball away because of double teams. He also has a very good IQ. Draymond sets moving screens but not as bad as Ben does in these clips. But defensively they'd still be bad because Draymond isn't the same player on that end anymore. While the Warriors get a low-IQ point guard who can't defend like he used to and refuses to shoot from anywhere on the floor. If Ben was 22 they could mold him. But he is a rookie of the year and a perennial all-star player. Which means they are getting whatever he is right now. So a horrible trade for the warriors.

Unfortunately Lebrija legacy is still affected negative because if he does something incredible to overcome that nasty Nash firing, he is trying to hard and if he doesn’t do anything coach gm part owner player lebron didn’t do enough or is only worried about him self . LBJ is not a winner in this firing.

    And thinking that it will be different without Covid or this or that is like having a baby to save a relationship.
    I still think Nash went to the front of the line too quickly, but all of this isn’t his fault.
    Probably need new ownership too. Tsai is probably a very nice man that means well, but he got pushed around way too much in this deal and ended up just making worse decisions when he tried to save face.

    I don't really see how poor switching is on the coaches. If it was a college team, sure, but KD, Kyrie, Seth Curry, and so forth have all been in the game more than long enough to know how to read and communicate the floor. Even if the coaching staff was inept you'd think that these guys could at least pull off some switches.
