I'm thinking about repairing my transmission and by that I mean if the gear lube has gotten thick after 30 years put some fresh stuff in there.

What would cause the washer to not turn in spin cycle? When mine gets to spin cycle it just burns out the belt! It’s not loaded! Thanks

I wish you had a close-up view of everything you are doing from the bottom. Sometimes a visual is all you need.

    Dear Sir,
My washer Maytag model number MAT12PSLWW. The machine does not spin. the bell is look good. It's agitating very good. if I lift the lid then the tub stopped right away. it's draining good but it's struggling to spin if I help it to start a push to get the spinning momentum then it would keep spinning until clothes dried. Please let me know what do I need to do to get this problem fix. Thank you very much for placed your video on youtube.

How can I repair a small rust hole that has developed in the corner of the outer tub on a 1990 Maytag A612? Replacement tub is now discontinued. The machine itself still works great & given the poor quality of new machines worth the effort to fix this.

Sounds like you need a new tub seal, it's a big cork gasket

@@mikeheintz6861 Thank you for your reply. I figured out where the spring was coming from and stuck it back in and no leaks since :)
