Why do the cars never start? That was just stupid. He should have taken her home and made a plan and found out when the guy would be there and when he wouldn't and then went back by himself. He did it, he is acting funny.

as a seventh grader I found this a little contrived and lacking an emotional center and a satisfying conclusion - I feel a little cheated of a meaningful insightful story with the time I invested in viewing this movie for relaxation and worthwhile entertainment.
What is ironic, is your commenting about being in 7th grade.😅 That is contrived. Not to mention hokey. Portraying an elusive intellectual is as transparent as it gets. 🤨How difficult is it to change to another movie?🙄

It was ok….. I mean…. Bens woody acting (but I suppose he got away with it for being pretty) and Joe being too self-absorbed. It was all about her…. The other actors were good (especially Elliot’s mum imo) but the dads acting was also a bit woody….. sorry for the complaints but it was an ok movie to sit through.

Hey there! I recently watched this movie, and I have to say, I found the portrayal of the teenager to be quite ineffective. The character's inability to respond to a boy getting kidnapped due to prioritizing personal feelings over their job was quite disappointing. Additionally, I felt that the teenager's acting skills didn't quite meet my expectations. Considering these factors, I would personally recommend not investing your time in this movie.

Good movie but in the swamp scenes hes driving a 4 wheeler one minute then a garden tractor then back to the atv.
The police in this film say some pretty stupid things. Very unrealistic TBH. For example check out 1:17:10 in the timeline. I can see if this was a monster movie, but there are very realistic events in this movie. You'd think the writers would make the dialogue a bit realistic as well.
