A really intriguing and tense horror movie! I especially enjoyed how the shots at the beginning laid out the mystery. I was interested from the get-go and had to find out what happened next! I appreciate the diverse cast as well.
This would be a great movie to watch on New Year's Eve is you're avoiding crowded parties. But only if you love scary movies! I'm not a huge fan of horror movies, but it's amazing that the entire movie is available to watch online. Usually you only find movie clips.
They need to make more independent horror films! There just aren't enough out there, great film
The Eve is a tense horror/thriller film that keeps you guessing. Four friends go to a cabin out in Martha's Vineyard for New Year's Eve, but tensions soon arise amidst the foursome, escalating until one of them turns up dead. The whodunit progresses as characters go missing and the characters' suspicions lead to them turn on each other. I don't want to spoil anything, but the killer was a definitely a surprise to me. The last shots of the film and the accompanying soundtrack was particularly haunting directorial touch. The Eve is a well done indie horror/thriller and definitely worth checking out.

This was such an interesting film!
This is a great variation of a classic horror theme with a surprising twist at the end. Great production values such as cinematography and setting. The actors are really convincing and you'll find a little bit of everything you want in a horror movie - just with the original fresh approach of writer/director Ritchie Steven Filippi who's is presenting his feature film debut here. His is an astounding accomplishment, particularly coming from a first time director as he masters all the different elements that usually take years to develop such as a sense of timing and plot development and an instinctive feeling for the rhythm of a movie. This is a director to look out for!

Clearly Hollywood has a higher degree of irrationality than other Cities in a country/nation already with a higher than average level of irrationality. More than 50% of the states are pot smoking states. So being off their heads (what they call getting high) is for a very significant percentage their imagined norm. Lacy her sef couldn't explain her own supposed irrational kiss a few seconds after smoking a bit of a joint.
365 million people and more than half are in pot smoking states.
How come they didn't even establish the basic, how he died? Not rationional. How did they reach their conclusion that he was murded?

This movie is dumb, sorry, first, why the "killer" kill the people? Ok she is traumatized....but there is non reason to became angry, second why the kiss? Ok if the guy have try to kiss her against her will, this can be an excuse for the "rage" but why is she that kiss him FIRST? His boyfriend is nice with her and respect her so WHY BECOME ANGRY? This movie has no reason to exist. is empty , is not scary is not a thriller, you can spot the killer before the kills thanks to the plot and the camera work, like in the kitchen with the knife. The janitor is a cliche, the charcter don't have an "history" you can empatize with them, the sad story of the girl, is lame.....lost an hour of my time but thanks.
