This was the difference between the old nba and the current one. Old nba played half court disciplined basketball but its comical if some people think that old nba cannot play uptempo game. Lots of set plays. Even the announcers back then knew how to analyzed the game.
Lose def and a lot of highlights were considered pickup games in the 80s and 90s. You cant do that in a season and post season games where teams took the game seriously. Todays game is like a pickup game. You see Lebron flexing his muscle and pumping his chest after an open lane to the basket dunk while his team is down by 25 pts. Sums up really the kind of mentality modern players have.

It was like the Bulls wanted to practice their fastbreak plays in this game. LOL. it was great to watch.

These preseason games are also to warm up the starters while giving the bench a much needed scrimmage experience. That is why they were rready and full throttle during the regular season.

Nice upload. They show TEN replays of a Jason Caffey dunk but NOT ONE of Michael Jordan

Of course I can believe it. These dudes played hard because it meant something and had purpose. They were paid minimal compared to today’s clowns. Proving themselves was a must. Mandatory. They best players played all year round because people wanna watch the best. No load management. No dickin around. Sports now is unwatchable. To laxed and to spoiled. Especially the NBA.
