If you weren't fortunate enough to have lived during this time, just know that this day was like a National Holiday. It was a Sunday afternoon, and our church cut services short so everyone could go home and watch the game. It was all anyone talked about in and around Chicago. There was just an excitement in the air that was bigger than any Super Bowl or World Series or NBA Finals. EVERYONE had nervousness/excitement that day - even people who didn't follow sports.
I'll never forget it. I was 12 years old and lived outside Chicago.

Notice how jordan hands, fists was, he used that to relief anxiety before games, he would imagine holding all the thoughts and worries in his fists and then open it and let it go, throw it away!
LOL @ the idea that Jordan was retiring to spend more time with his family.
We can't know for sure, but I am CERTAIN that was not the reason. Jordan is a competitive freak.
Agreed 100% I guess its because of his and his father gambling, that his father end up being murdered and he was stepping out of the game untill things go smooth.
By the way what do you think, how can i can be competitive freak too? I was joked in school like Jordan, my father said to me as Jordan`s to Mike that he would become no one, nothing, to go to the kitchen to his mom. I just didnt have brother. I have competitive intensity and killer instinct but not to the point of being that competitive and taking everything personal.
I do take everything personal that will fire me up, but then i forgot it after a while. I can mention that i do have ADHD like Jordan have, its a huge factor for it.
I guess its more about being focused in todays day and age, where you have all the distractions and instant gratification that makes you forgive most things, while Jordan will remmeber all the stuff and be with it on his own, with all this thoughs about someone moke him or said that he can`t do something.
