- AN ENGLISH CASTLE, CREAM TEA and Coastal Hikes - Lynton & Lynmouth Valley of Rocks & Dunster Village
In this video we begin exploring our very own country! We had always planned to do a bit of filming in the UK in a few years time but due to the pandemic we came back to the UK sooner than expected. Luckily lockdown in the UK has lifted and summer is here… just to manage expectations it is a British summer so don’t expect all these videos to be too sunny :)
We love our own country and we especially love the countryside, given our current location in the UK we are well positioned to show you some of our favorite places in the South West of England so that is exactly where we have started. We head off to check out Dunster Castle and village in the county of Somerset before heading over to the next county of Devon and wandering through the picturesque coastal towns of Lynton and Lynmouth.
We finish the day with the famous Valley of Rocks walk taking in the beautiful scenery of this 10km coastal hike.

A British couple from just outside London, England. We got married in 2018 and decided instead of a honeymoon we’d travel the world together. We saved money and travel points, quit our jobs, rented our house out and boarded a one way flight. We started this CZcams channel to share our experiences with friends, family and anyone who plans to travel to the places we’re visiting. We leave TKT tips/facts on our vlogs and blogs to give information that we wish we’d had before visiting. We hope you find our content useful :)

Thanks so much for watching you lovely people! ☺️ we hope you liked our first video from the UK! 👍🏼
It’s been a while since we shared a video but we’re back filming and planning new adventures and can’t wait to share it all with you as we go 🗺
Fascinating history in dunster Castle. That valley of rocks is amazing. What beautiful weather you had. Good footage 👏 👍
It was perfect weather, not too hot, not too cold ☺️
@TKT: Great to hear from you two again! =)
Watching this video made me realise how very long it's been since I made it out to one of the edges of this lovely island.
The edges are the best! ☺️
Welcome back!
Nice to see Craigs hair hasn't changed 😉
Thank you 😊 His hair has survived 3 lockdowns and some dodgy haircuts along the way😂
This is the second goat video I’ve seen in an hour. But yours is a LOT more picturesque.
Goats are so cool, how they don’t just fall down the edge of slopes is a wonder that looks as if they’re defying gravity 🐐😁
Wow another super effort from you. We are so grateful have a blessed video for us.🤩
Thank you 😊
I'm so glad you're back!
Thank you, it’s great to be back 😊
“Just duck under here, try not to get shot.” 🤣 But those fields…that castle. All of this.
It was a scary moment but at least it made us move quickly 😂
Yay! Glad to see you guys back and sharing some UK content. The scenery is beautiful and I love seeing castles and rolling hills. I didn't realize there was a "feud" over which order to do the cream and jam, but I'm happy to say at our English tea the other day I did it jam and then cream - phew! The drone shots at the end are so pretty - love the sea views there.
Ahh you did your cream tea the Cornish way like Craig 😋
Ah so lovely to see our quaint villages & beautiful British coastal views - we have such an amazing country for scenery. Great you had the weather too- that ‘makes’ it! Love the fact the wild goats made an appearance for you too! Perfect!
Great idea to share our beautiful country with everyone & we can all enjoy your adventures aswell!
It’s definitely very green and picturesque after all the rain ☺️
What an amazing scenery!Really happy to see you back on the road, looking forward to the coming episodes😎
Thank you. We’re so happy to be back exploring and sharing adventures 😊
Welcome back guys! Wow! Such amazing views in Dunster. Curious to learn about cream before jam drama. I had no idea! Love the views at the valley of the rocks. Can't believe that you had the place all to yourself. Such stunning drone shots guys!
It’s a long standing debate between the counties 😁
Nice to see you back in action 🙂
I've never been to that part of England, thank you for showing such beautiful locations!
It’s good to be back ☺️
My favourite place. Been visiting for years
So excited to see you two again! I'm so excited to see England from your lens, amazing drone shots, you are killing it! I have neve seen a castle in my life, it looks so beautiful 😍 England is on our bucket list so your guidance for us for the best stops is so crucial, no pressure though 😅 love all the architecture around downtown area! The views from the coastal side is breathtaking 😍 I remember seeing them on your Instagram as well. Beautiful!!
Thank you 😊 we’ll happily show you guys around England through our lens and in person! There are castles everywhere on this island 🏰
I love this you have captured with interest the beauty and history of a beautiful part of England cant wait for more
We’re glad you think so, we’ve plenty more to come ☺️
Wow, welcome back both of you. Such stunning scenery & cream tea!.You might of guessed but Bailey dog spent most of the day in the esturary at Lynmouth. Damp dof all the way home 🙂
Wouldn’t expect him to be anywhere but the water! 🤣
Väga huvitavad videod teil👍👍!
Aitäh ☺️
Welcome back was wondering where you two had been. Looking forward to more vlogs in future.
Thank you 😊
My wife and I spent on average of two long weekends a year in Lynmouth alone or with family/friends for 30 years till cancer came and took her away. So many lovely memories.
Sorry to hear that, but so glad you have so many lovely memories in a beautiful place! It’s such a refreshing peaceful place to visit.
They’re baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!!!
We are so happy to be back ☺️
So good to see you guys back 🥳
Cream first, or jam 🤷🏻♀️ we still don’t know 😅
Dunster is such a cute town 🥰
Wooooow, those ocean views!!! Amazing!!!
Lynmouth is just as cute, can’t believe you said it smells like fish and chips, I almost bought some for dinner 😅
“Ish” haha
The coastal walk you did is just stunning, those views!! Love the drone shots you got of you walking. Wow, the valley of rocks!!!
Cream first for Devon, Jam first for Cornwall 😁 it feels great to be back after 2 months (ish😉) off of editing!
Beautiful area which I visited many time when younger and I thoroughly enjoyed you visit as it brought back many happy memories.
Glad you enjoyed it, always happy to be bringing back some happy memories!
Welcome back!!!!! Know those first day back in the office jitters only too well 😂 You guys are pros, straight back into it 💞
Thank you 😊 We almost forgot how tiring it is to walk uphill and talk to a camera!
@@TideKnotTravellers haha yeh just in general talking to the camera is tiring after a break. My arm got tired holding the camera up, you can tell cause I start breathing funny towards the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Welcome back guys! Wow the various shades of green and flowers are beautiful. You mentioned all of the rain, did you receive a typical amount or was it more than usual? I am curious if every year this area gets so green.
The views of the coast 😍
I love the store with the -ish hours, we have one of those over here too 😊
Oh and I wanted to ask..what is the proper order of cream and jam from where you two live? I never knew there was a proper order 😆
It always rains a lot but this year has been particularly rainy, it’s good to see the beautiful nature produced from it though! 🌱🌿🌳🍀
We used to live just outside London so no where near Devon or Cornwall however we both went to uni in Devon and met there so guess it should be cream then jam - the Devon way! 😋
@@TideKnotTravellers ah I see. Everywhere you went was so beautiful and green :)
@@TideKnotTravellers we will have to remember this if we ever make it to the Devon or Cornwall area :)
