    the vignette of Vince & the WWF boys visiting Dr D at his home in Tennessee was hilarious - when the rifle he's showing the boys goes off into the ceiling .

    He was about 10 to 15 years ahead of his time. Imagine how over Dr. D would have been in the late 90's

      @JefferyAshmore Terry was scared shirtless of David, while Hogan lived with David and his wife, he knew exactly what David was all about, and the fact that David would have wrecked him in an actual shoot.

    According to Bobby Heenan, there were two kinds of wrestlers who came to Memphis……young guys on the way up and old guys on the way down. The top drawing wrestlers went to either Minneapolis or New York, because that’s where the money was.

    I saw David get out of the ring in the middle of a match and climb over the barrier about 2 rows back and punched a fan right in the face he got back in the ring and continued the match like nothing happened.

    Dr.D was Dr.D 24/7 there was zero difference in the charachter and the man. Had the 20/20 deal never went down I can totally see him taking the top heel spot in the NWA, or taking it in WCCW. He would have not stayed once the cartoonish crap went full tilt in the WWF.

      Yep, he brought almost everything on himself. He knew how things worked, and he knew what to and to not do. Yet still, someone else is always to blame. He has a few entitlement issues.

      @jamieallen2126 That's right, Tony Atlus said Dutch & Brody was sitting in front of the hotel, and that he found it odd bc Brody was the Main Event!!
      If it wasn't for Tony none of these details would have surfaced, Everyone in that locker room knew something was going down, Except Tony. Vince McMahon blackballed t.f out of Tony for telling the real story

      @@Coco-xw3wp Absolutely. Nobody could intimidate Brody. He knew he was putting asses in seats and he demanded money. Other wrestlers were jealous because they didn't have the balls Brody had to stand up for himself. If not for Tony, Brody would have never made it off the locker room floor.

    Jerry was a huge whimp secretly. Those of us who really know the real Jerry Lawler can't keep from laughing when he would go on TV and try so hard to act tough. Heres another thing most people don't know. Jerry ALWAYS kept a book of one liners with him to use on air. He wasn't quick witted like many think. He got everything from joke books.

      Jaime seems okay but, sadly, Bill is reportedly almost gone. He's got dementia really bad and barely knows where he is, according to Jaime. Jamie did a podcast with Dutch Mantell a couple of months ago and talked about it.
