Try to maintain the low glycemic load diet within 25. You're doing good.

Aerobic exercises are best for losing fat. Those are calories burning exercises.
Aerobic exercises are for building endurance and stamina. To increase lung and heat capacity.
Anaerobic exercises are for muscle gain or increase strength. These exercises in increases your muscle mass and your overall strength.
But in india most diabetic patients are old age or suffering from obesity and arthritis. So they are unable to do running or jogging for a lond period. They can only do weight lifting exercises or stretching or yoga.

Muscle development is only possible when its combined with quality sleep and protein based nutrition in a clean way. Otherwise anaerobic activity will be a total wastage of time. HIIT is not suitable for everyone as it requires sufficient time to recover, and secrets lot of cortisol, the stress hormone. You should have made these points elaborately explained.

Yes but not for a long period of time. 10/15 min of warm up is fine. More than that can lead to an increase in the stress hormone which is again a reason for type 2 diabetes.

Could you please tell me what safety measures one must take to avoid muscle stretching and pain developed, that lasts for few days , because of doing HIIT. Weightlifting needs much pratice and chances of muscle stretching is more. How one can manage all these while reversing diabetes and doing these exercise.
All these strengthening exercises needs to be increased slowly, first start with 10 mins exercise and less weight and gradually increase as per your body capacity. In case of muscle pull, take appropriate rest and check whether the posture is correct or not.

Is anaerobic exercise safe for heart patients ?
