Dish Soap Dispenser UPGRADE - after a big mess!

So you've got one of these integrated dish soap dispensers, with a bottle under the sink. One of these days you look under, and it's a mess - the soap is EVERYWHERE! If you haven't had that experience, I can practically guarantee you will (if you have such a dispenser, that is). A few days ago was my lucky day, so now it is time to address this issue once and for all.
The plastic bottles of the dispensers tend to break at the threads, this is pretty common. Of course, simply replacing the bottle is an option - I mean, an expensive option that won't last long. So how about we improve on this contraption and get rid of the bottle entirely? That would be a great upgrade! And as a side effect we'll need to fill up a lot less frequently with less mess on the countertop.
