Someone send Emmy the MRE pizza! đ
YES, please!!!
You send it
"Probably because I don't have champagne with mine." What a douche. Always nice when people make their own assumptions and take them as fact. *LOL*
@@emmymade I wish you would try to say the names of the meals in Norwegian đđđ đ !!
the pizza is a lot worse than the c-bun, trust me xD
As a disabled Army veteran who has eaten countless MREâs, I think Emmy does a wonderful job as a civvie tasting MREâs! Keep up the great work! This veteran has your back!
@Melokacool it's none of your business. Stef doesn't owe you anything
Thank you for your service, Steph. One year late, but Happy Thanksgiving!
Melokacool
What the fuck makes you think its okay to ask that??
@Melokacool no. It's not polite. Asking someone that is very rude. It's none of your business. It's no one's business but stef's and their doctor. You don't need to know.
Melokacool No matter how you ask, you do not ask a disabled person such things. It is rude. Sincerely, another disabled vet who doesnât have to tell you how.
ok but you have got to be the most likeable human
Amanda Motion the fuck do you mean âok BUTâ wtf
@@littledeel why do you sound so personally offended it's just a dumb insignificant meme calm ur titties
@@justaracoonchillinginatoilet69 shes flat
lastgaming gt whoâs flat?
I bet she has some times sheâs not, but she probably has like twođ
If Emmy could just write a book and then also record the audiobook herself I would listen to it to fall asleep every night. Her voice is so soothing to me â€ïž
Emmy: *hums optimistically*
Me: Maybe itâs not so ba-
Emmy: Kind Of tastes like fish water
Me: đŠ....
Haha funnyđđđ
I have been laughing at this comment for a full 15 minutes đ
"Mmhmmm" - Emmy, whether it's good or bad
I've noticed xD
She's very diplomatic about these things.
Did you notice the jumpcut at the cinnamon bun? ^.^
She'd be interesting to play poker with I bet.
âRats! I really wanted the pizza!â Sigh. I was hoping so hard, sister.
In Europe entrĂ©e is actually the dish before the main one. This confuses me every time đ đ đ
tascha11 yeah in Latin America its entrada đ Its before the main course
Same here in Australia. So I gather it means the main meal in America
In the US and Canada entrée usually means the main course. And what we consider the entrée is a "starters" and is specified as soup, salad or whatever in US English.
Isn't that a given?
Entree, enter.. You enter before you exit.;D
Appetiser then entree in Europe my man. Or at leas thatâs what it is in England where I live.
Tip for filling to the fill line, if the line is on the outside of the bag, crease the bag at the line then you can see it from the inside.
Thanks!
Brilliant!
I bet so much research and thought goes into designing these things. They have to be nutritionally complete, light weight, easily mass produced, clearly labeled, super water and air tight, et cetera
Right?! I would love to be on an MRE R&D team!
Itâs like the combination of cooking and trying to solve a bunch of tricky puzzles, all mixed together! đ
I want a video of Emmy reading childrenâs books. She is so calming to listen to. I love it. â€ïžâ€ïž
Also is there Xylitol gum that doesnât have aspartame? It seems like all gum has aspartame but I donât believe itâs good for you after reading about it.
CcakeAsh I would absolutelylove that!!! It would be so cool if she had another channel like that. Gl
Not sure about the gum, but you can buy pure powdered xylitol and also xylitol mouth rinses without aspartame, so you can get the benefits still. Also, honestly, even if aspartame is bad for you (which, no comment on if it is or not because that's not my point), the amount in a piece of gum is very very small and therefore fine. The dose makes the poison.
I have seen xylitol gums with stevia. But I live in Finland and we have like 1 million different flavours of xylitol gum (xylitol was "invented" here)
She would make a fortune on Audible, Ash!
As soon as you said "smells like hostess crumb cakes" for the cinnamon bun I knew exactly what you meant, I super appreciate your discriptivness, it makes it wonderfulđđđ Bangs
Vanessa Feliciano she's one of the only food channels I watch consistently for that exact reason! Really helps get a feel for what the food is like without even tasting!
Ya wouldn't be able to get the exact water measurements anyway when ya out and about ;)
TheLordOfTheCats7 yeah she's so good at it that I've bought a few things based on her assessment and she was pretty spot on! its amazing
As I'm not American, that description didn't tell me anything :D
I loved those things!
So the disinfectant wipe could possibly double as a firestarter đ€
It could, but in the field every team in the Norwegian Army gets equipped with camping stoves, so using the wipes like that is pointless. What the wipes are EXTREMELY useful for, however, is cleaning your hands after handling the stove. If you get even the tiniest drop of fuel on your hands and happen to ingest it, you will get diarrhea. A common and very nasty prank is to actually put a drop of fuel in someone's mess kit.
Divine Falcon in a pinch though.
We use chlorhexidine scrubs to prep skin for PICC lines ( peripherally inserted central catheters ). Its a serious cleanser for sure. The ethanol is for fast drying purposes.
Right...got it - thanks!
Ouch ! My Mom had one when she had surgery years ago. She couldn't eat solids and had antibiotics on a daily basis. That must be some sanitizer! đ±
It is used in skin prep for a lot of different surgeries both in human and veterinary fields. Good antiseptic with a 5 min skin contact that is improved and shortened by mixing with alcohol
As someone with Celiac and a nut allergy, I'm really glad to see that they put the allergy information right on the front of the package. Bangs.
John Maloney Same here, I am unsuitable for military service, but my food allergies would be an obstacle if I was.
Law required i think.
Yes, it is required by law in Norway, in all restaurant aswellđđ
After a pretty scary incident/car accident.. this is soothing and relaxing as I settle back at home. I am thankful for Emmy!
Put a crease in the bag at the fill line which should be visable on the inside.
Smart!
I know in the US navy(all us military) the green, yellow, and red, are basically healthy to unhealthy. The sodium intake. If you go to a navy mess decks they have the colors to inform you of which foods will be the most effective for your body. It's called "Go for Green"
Ha! That's great, color-coded for efficiency.
This is not the case here. Its from the company REAL. They dont base anything on color.
Emmy, you are a shining star in this world of endless sadness and disappointment.
Don't give up on this world. I'm not. đâ€ïžđ
emmymadeinjapan â€â€â€
Oh god, tell me about it. Emmy's videos are the only thing I look forward to in my life. Sad but true.
If you want to be happy, you have to work for it. It doesn't come from sitting around and watching youtube videos.
Foodoholic ...says the person commenting on a CZcams video...?
When I was in the Army we were the first soldiers to actually use the newly developed Drytech rations. A good thing as well because we were unfortunate enough to be be issued the formerly used RSP rations when the Drytech stuff ran out. RSP are commonly known as "dead man in a can" for good reason...
RSP = remains of 'sploded personnel
I always run to your videos and I'm never disappointed đ
what flickering lights mean.
1% electrical problem, 99% demons.
PinkPromises get the saltđ
Who you gonna call? Sam and Dean lol
PinkPromises lol
Literally chuckled out loud.đ
It's just Eleven saying hi
It's actually just Nosferatu
As a Norwegian Iâm glad you liked our MRE
That was a lot of caffeine in one ration, no problem with 'alertness' there.
This legitimately looks tasty. Damn the Norwegians are good at everything
This is so cool! I love that they have allergy facts, and instructions on how to take care of your body! I wish more militaries would do these simple things to keep their troops happy and healthy!
I love how Emmy has made her way into the ration community! đđŒ
"Lets get this out onto a tray! Nice!"
Jess Hull mmkay
No Hiss.
Emmy can you do another video of what you feed your kids in a day or week? I sometimes have a hard time coming up with new stuff for my little one. Love these videos
sscfc1 Rude.
sscfc1 as a Army veteran, she does a great job describing a MRE! Itâs nice to see a civvieâs point of view!
sscfc1 I wonder if you can produce a better MRE review than Emmy, do that then post the link here so that your point has validation. If not, go away and come back when you're not being so shallow minded please. đ
sscfc1
You're either ignoring or just not aware that 'Steve1989MREInfo' and 'emmymadeinjapan' are two entirely different channels, despite both of them being about stuff you can eat. Your criticism is misplaced and that is why it isn't well received.
How the heck can "Jessica from Hawaii" be rude?!?!
Always eating your MRE desserts before your MRE dinners. You're just too darn adorable.
I love this, so proud of our Norwegian neighbours! They are not known for their food, but that's because people don't try proper Norwegian food.
I love reading the comments of these videos and learning about other countries.
Love love your videos! Thank you for posting all of these videos.
Chlorhexadine is a high powered disinfectant used in wipes before surgery. Strong stuff!
Love your videos Emmy! :)
I have a little fun fact for you. As you mentioned, there is quite a few items in the ration that has the brandname "REAL" on it. In norwegian "real" means proper/ honest/ decent. It's a way of describing someone or something that is true, trustworthy and/ or genuin. It's quite a compliment if someone calls you "real" in Norway :)
I'm from Texas, and I remember being super young and our household lived off MRE's for weeks following a huge hurricane. There was a beef stroganoff that I really liked. Ever since, stroganoff has always been very comforting.
I loooove your MRE tastings. My favorite kinds of videos by far. â„
Emmy, you are the true lovely my new friend! This video is great! I love when you get to try the ration packs from different countries, Iâve learned a lot.
Thank you Emmy for saving my day. I was looking for some new MRE vids, but found nothing on the MRE reviewer channels, then I saw the notification about this vid. :) Oh, by the way, I really love your Hungarian sweets videos. Greetings from Hungary.
Instant coffee reminds me of my grandmother's afternoon coffee that went with her "story" (Soap Opera). We are from Louisiana and coffee is a serious thing here but we did our REAL coffee in the morning and once a day was enough for most days. Ha, and because of that, I find it comforting as well!
Instant coffee makes me think of "imitation coffee" from the book 1984. I actually take it a step further with coffee and use a percolator. I will not use a drip machine, mainly do to them leeching plastic compounds into the coffee.
When I vacationed in NOLA, I learned to love chicory! I cannot find anything that can match the taste, not even the same brand. Just like grits. I despise grits in Oklahoma but I recently ate them in Georgia and they were amazing!!
@@dedratiger806 Chicory coffee became popular in central Europe during WW 2 as well. My parentd always prepared it for me, when I was a child, to have some kind of a coffee-drink without caffeine as well. Thanks for reminding me, I need to get se, haven't had it in years đ
HEY EMMY!!! YES! I got to see this video within the first 15 minutes of it posting!
Lol I love she drinks the coffee with everything sweet in the videos...soo meeee....a true foodieđ
Emmy, your videos are always my, in bed before dropping off, end of the day treat. Thanks for such great content, info and entertainment!
Just randomly came across your videos, love your personality and when ever you go âummâ âummmmmâ when your trying foods makes me smile everytime
Emmy! One day, can you PLEASE try âketchup slicesâ itâs like a hardened ketchup slice that you put on burgers and sandwiches
Oh yeah, I shared that on my Facebook page the other day. Weâll see! đ
They are so odd looking... like some college kid forgot a plate of ketchup in their dorm room for 3 weeks and then had to eat it on a dare...
Macie Michelle đ±
Jenna Leonard oml... that description made me shudder so hard đđ±
I loved the additional information about the chocolate and the ashy look to it.
Interesting timing with this video! I just got my ancestry results today and I found out Iâm of Norwegian Jewish decent!
I love Emmy's channel, idk if it's just me but I'm from the UK and I love Emmy's voice, or the way she talks, i dont know why though :D
bangs!
i love you emmy
YESSSSS. ANOTHER RATION VIDEO!!! Thank you
I love when you do MRE tastings! I mean, I don't think you do any video subjects that I don't get down on. But I really get down on MRE tasting!
Thank you again. Good thing you had that coffee, it looks like it helped everything go down. When do you do the other pack?
It's waiting patiently on my shelf.
Fantastisk! And now we know what to expect from Norwegian "sweet & sour pork." Tusin takk!
This makes me so proud to be Norwegian! â€ïžđ
This oneâs good! I canât imagine my life without your videos!
Emmy, one of the most respected CZcamsr. I've watched you since the early days and glad to be here learning from you still to this day!
Great video Emmy i really enjoyed it. I like all the things you do but i love that you are also part of the mre community:)
Enjoyed watching ! Thanks !
Excellent review Emmy. I need to pick up one of the Norwegian rations one of these days. Looks great!
I absolutely LOVE these videos! âșïž
â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Hey Emmy! I was wondering if you could try a couple of different fast food pizzas, and tell us which one is your favorite! Love the video!
Yeah... I definitely rewatched that greeting at least three times!! Love Emmy!!
I love they include a vitamin....awesome.
I remember I used to watch your tasting vids a lot a few years back, but I guess with life I forgot, but randomly was stumbling through videos and found these again. Super happy! I missed your vids ^_^
I've never liked a human more. She seems like the nicest person on the planey
This absolutely tickled me to see, I got my snack and Iâm so ready to enjoy this
I love your videos⥠im always refreshing youtube and instagram for new videos đ
Been watching since this beginning, love you Emmy!
I love you channel sooooo much you have such a great attitude and personality. ps I love you glasses.
Thank you. đ€
A lot of baking videos say coffee kind of enhances chocolate and its flavour makes it more chocolate tasting which is why they go together so well ! :)
Love your videos Emmy!!!
I was like damn that was some wicked lightning when your light was flickering
The design of packaging is nice!
Man, I'm addicted to these MRE and "eats (insert country here)" videos. Darn you, Emmy.
I love that she tested the amount of water against the instructions
I love your MRE videos! Do you eat everything when you're done filming or do you share it with your family? đ
Radio-Ladio Iâve also wondered this!
Me too!
Thinking the same thing! Personally I'd munch it all down because uni life is rough. đ
If emmy ate all that food, even being a busy mom, she'd be enormous. I'm hoping she shares it. Her kids would have a very interesting childhood.
E M M Y. Youâre intros never fail to make me smile. :-)
Your ration videos are my favorite.
I'm a camper as well but live in the PacNW where we get so serious about our coffee. I'm not making this up. We really do take French presses or drip cones and fresh ground coffee for car camping. For backpacking there are backpacking cones as well. No one I know would drink instant coffee but I do understand the nostalgia for childhood flavors that are other than we would choose now. Scent and taste evoke our most primal memories.
I do enjoy your programs. Keep going.
I love these videos!
Chlorhexidine is extremely powerful and a concentration of 0.5% is definitely sufficient for cleaning hands before eating. We use the same concentration at work before surgery to clean an operative sight.
Yay! Ration videos are my favorite!
I LOVE these!!!! Please more
Yeeeeeess,I love those ration videos the best.
Bangs! Iâm so stoked!!
Thank you so MUCH for doing a Norwegian MRE âșïžâșïžâșïžâșïžâșïžâșïž
emmy! what did you study in school, was it science based?
WOW I've never been this early! Love you lots Emmy! Our favorite internet mom :)
Great video as always :)
Love when you do MREs lol
When the fill line is on the outside of a bag, I always pinch the bag, pour the water, and stop pouring when it gets to my pinch.
- - I just eyeball it because lazy. đ
Looks delicious!
i love your videos emmy â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
She's simply adorable , what a cool peronality !
hi Emmy hope you're having a wonderful day!!!đâ€ïž
"Oh come on, let's not do this the whole time. Just, y'know, please?" ahh she's so adorable.
That song in the intro! xD I loved it!
Greetings beautiful emmy yay nothing better than watching you after a hard day at work
Greetings! Glad I could help. đ
emmymadeinjapan you always help emmy love you hope you have a good night and a great tomorrow
Emmy would you consider trying surströmming? It would be very interesting to know what you think about it. Thank you! Love your input and descriptions of everything you try!
