Definitely, no other squad in the world would leave a player out with so much international experience and who plays in one of the best clubs in the world.
Grealish is the perfect tournament player. Bring him on for the last 20 minutes of a knockout game and he'll keep the ball/win set pieces for days. Dropping him is a terrible decision.
Bringing all these mid table players (who I think are good) is so stupid they don’t understand the pressure of being a high pressure favourable winner of something they play for clubs where there’s no pressure to win so they can play more freely

As a BHAFC fan I can tell you Dunk is one of the best ball-playing CBs in the Prem. Its not his fault De Zerbi left him to die when Igor was getting torn to shreds. He is constantly bailing out our mistakes. Branthwaite was lucky to play for a team that locks 9 behind the ball.

We know Luke Shaw is going to be fit soon but if he misses the first couple of matches due to injury; we have a lot of options. Kieran Trippier is one of them, I know he can usually play right-back but he would be a good replacement if Shaw gets injured. Given that both Joe Gomez and Ezri Konsa can play anywhere in defence (RB, CB, LB), they could be decent replacements for Shaw or Walker is he gets injured or tired throughout the match.
The ONLY mistake Gareth Southgate made while changing the 33-man provisional squad to the 26-man official squad was not selecting Jarrad Branthwaite. Him, Tarkowski and Pickford has been carrying Everton and especially their defence all season. How on earth have people like Joe Gomez and Ezri Konsa been included instead of Jarrad Branthwaite.

I'm a bit confused. Southgate has been slated the last six years for picking favourites and choosing people not on skill but on fan backlash; this time he's chosen purely on who he thinks will benefit the squad, including booting out Phillips, Henderson, and Maguire (Albeit because of injuries), and now because he's not chosen fan favourites, he's being slated for *that* now?
Don't get me wrong; the omission of Grealish and Maddison sucks for me personally, but isn't a cutthroat Southgate exactly what people have been demanding all these years?
Shocking Jarrod what a season won young player of the year for Everton and player of the season for Everton how has hen not mad it through its so bad

The England team are favourites among the English bookies. Not bias at all. 😂England can definitely win the Euros, but to be favourites you would need world class central defenders, a goalkeeper and a left-back, plus a better manager. If England at least had a well oiled system and game plan like Spain or Italy, maybe you could get away with it and be favourites, but that's not the case.

I think it is a mistake not to pick Maguire. He is a terrible slow one on one defender but when you are protecting a lead and the opposition is putting you under pressure with corners and crosses, few defenders are better than Maguire in those moments. He will not start for me but I will keep him in that team for that one reason.
Only problem is that some players have been picked on Premier league form when playing for England is a different bag altogether. Watkins has had a good season with Villa but hasn't impressed for England, whereas Foden is Lampard 2.0:- world class when playing in blue, but sometimes goes missing in an England shirt
England are playing with a lot more pace now, and the majority of their winger are young and offer a lot of attacking threat, and can both score and assist equally.
Grealish doesn't really fit that, and he hasn't had a good season.
Regardless if he's solid for England, there's many better and I think snubbing him was right.
Branthwaite in for Dunk is only change. Grealish for Eze is a maybe due to his tournament experience and bench impact.
