    My first behind purchase was a Disco. I then upgraded to a Range Rover Sport, and now own a Range Rover Autobiography. Oh and I tried a Defender for a year lol. I don't love this redesign of the Sport and think they are all looking TOO similar now. This redesign lost the aggressive look that past Sports had, especially from the side. I do like the power and engine though! Their interiors are always great too! LRs have the best infotainment and camera systems, period!
    Nice review! Seeing the Sport is super nostalgic!

      People will purchase anything for the listed price if it allows them to possess a high degree or exclusivity. If you want to stand out to show everyone you have money this is what people buy. Logically speaking from an economical point of view it doesn't make sense.

My friend got A Evoque for her 17 birthday...boom first year of ownership 5 recalls. The next year 3 recalls. Her mom has a RR Sport and has been to the dealer 2 times already this year for problems. I'm a Range Rover Sport fan boy. I'm currently owning my 3rd Sport. Now that they're using the BMW sourced engine I have concerns. I've owned a 7 Series sedan with the BMW 4.4L V8 and that engine was complete garbage. By comparison, I never had even a single issue with any of the Sports I've owned with the JLR engines.

    Great-performing SUV. If only they were as reliable as even the Germans…
    Jaguar and Land Rover are going to go out of business in the next 15 years imo, I seriously doubt that they can keep going with their reliability records.

    • @MercOne
      @MercOne Před rokem +4

      Clearly you have no clue about the actual market or Land Rover right now. Just because Toyota nerds worship reliability surveys doesn't mean everyone else does. Land Rover is selling every RR Sport, RR and Defender they can build. Most people lease and nothing major is happening for most of these owners in 3 years. They don't want some dull, outdated 15 year old Lexus product no matter how reliable it is. Land Rover has been unreliable for years and their popularity has never been higher. Your prediction is just not reality based. Jaguar on the other hand is being propped up by Land Rover until 2025........we'll see what happens when their new Bentley level EVs appear.

My friend got A Evoque for her 17 birthday...boom first year of ownership 5 recalls. The next year 3 recalls. Her mom has a Sport and has been to the dealer 2 times already this year for problems. • @MercOne
      @MercOne Před rokem

      @@jaydenp.6243 None of that changes anything I just said. Are you just too slow to understand the previous post? Again, they are selling every singe Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Defender they can make. That is is not a cry, it’s a fact. They cost way more than a stupid RX or NX so outselling them is a moot point. Land Rover isn’t going anywhere is the point.
