I enjoyed watching this while I was waiting for my headphones, but I didn't retain most of the info, since I didn't have the actual headphones. I just got them an hour ago and tried to figure them out. The little booklet that comes with it is all but useless. I did download the actual manual and that had more information, but it was terrible and confusing! So I don't know if it counts as laziness to watch a funny and truly helpful video that helped me understand the headphones I just received, but it would have been very hard work to figure out the headphones by figuring out that awful manual! Thank you! :-)

Ha, from a retired manual writer from wayback, i love/hate the idea that peeps don’t read the manuals, but product manuals have become so awful to look at (6pt. type in 20 languages) that I can forgive folks for not even bothering. I came here hoping for a clue on why the Bose 700s never play alarms thru the cups in iOS, and alarms come from the phone only. Any ideas? I’m thinking it’s an iOS bug, but I have no way to test with Android...

So Just an hour ago I was a in Microsoft Teams call and it was an hour long meeting. During that meeting, I got a call on my cellphone. To receive that call, I muted my Team's Microphone and answered my cellphone. The cellphone was sending audio to headphones, but I was still hearing audio from the Team's meeting. I fiddled with Team's meeting device settings a lot , but I couldn't figure out how to let the cellphone voice come into my headphone. So ultimately I had to change my cellphone audio to Speaker and respond to the call. Then I opened a youTube video while in that same meeting, and Bose headphone wouldn't let the CZcams audio come into my ear. It was just so stuck on that teams meeting. Felt really annoyed. Is there a way to seamlessly switching audio-source from one software in Windows to another and then to cellphone?

hey guys, I'm become so frustrated with my 700's. Recently, the prompting sounds when powering up has been turning on by its self. mentioning the battery strength and its blue tooth connection. This is occurring every ten min and at times disconnects from the device i am using. So, while listing to a podcast, it pause's or disconnects. Help
Love your review. Love your sense of humour. Never laughed so much during a product review. I love my Bose 700...but yes I haven’t read manual but thats what You Tube is for isn’t it 😉 One reason I got the Bose 700 over that of the Sony 1000 was they didn’t fold lol. Have Bose quiet comfort 35ii as well but hated the folding. My hair always seemed to get caught in the hinge. With my new Bose 700 Been struggling how to turn off. My work around was to go to app and change auto shut off to 5 mins but not perfect. Also never seem able to answer a call on it, keep tapping at the touch control but never get call through. Have to go to phone and choose to answer call on headphones? Also had problem with battery not charging to the full 20 hours and had to reboot and now got up to 17.30 hours. After speaking to Bose they said they were aware of problem and are working on an update patch. One brilliant feature is the call quality. The person on other end of the call literally can’t hear anything your end even if you are walking in wind or have cars racing past. The noise cancelling is extremely good as well. It was for these features that I decided to keep them.

Can not for the life of me get this thing to pair to my phone. I’ve charged it multiple times watched several videos and they just won’t enter pairing mode. They’re totally unresponsive when unplugged, the only time they light up is when they’re plugged into the charger
Hi, if you are reading this information before decision. Do not buy...I have read manual, I have watched this video and still do not know how to connect via USB sticker. Does not matter it will finally works or not...configuration is too difficult.
My touch controls stopped working on the first day after a few hours. Resetting h device does not do anything. Firmware is up to date. I’ve reinstalled the app repaired devices but nothing is working. Also on my MacBook I don’t get sound when watching videos using QuickTime but it works fine with VLC. Am I missing something or is my headset buggy?

Guys, would you recommend the NC700 to attend my office skype calls? My main concern here is the passive noise cancellation while i speak to the colleagues on the other side. Thanks a lot!
Does well for office Skype calls, apart for the clamping force for long periods of time. Check out the Bose 700 UC - they are similar to the 700 but comes with a dongle for better connectivity with MS Teams. Why do you feel passive noise cancellation is a concern?
how do we turn off just the Microphone? Like Surface Headphones 2 have a dedicated button to mute mic, but don't think that's there on Bose 700.. Handy for muting Teams calls
I have a question I bought them as my Christmas gift, how do I know they are fully charge ? Cuz I read it goes up to 20 Hours , woukd it charge to 20 hours or just 6 hours ? Because I was charging them and I think it stood on the same hour

Do u all know how to get rid of the voice within the headphones? The ones that tells you the battery level and what type of noice active cancellation the headset is on? That voice is loud as fuq. It startles me.
There is no manual - there is a little booklet with about 50 pages but only 2 pages of english which says charge it then download the app is all it says - hating this already

The best way would be to check the app. I think the LEDs would also indicate it in some way.
What's the red and white blinking light for? Read online that I have to contact support for that, any idea?

Haha know what you mean. You can do that in the Bose music app. Click the gear icon > turn off “enable prompts”. Let us know if that does the job.
