Just failed my 1102 over the weekend. I was using professor messers practice exams and consistently getting 95-99% on all of them. Your notes were definitively eye opening as I was hoping I can memorize terms without trying to memorize the nuances of all of the for the test. For anyone reading this, do not underestimate this exam.
how was core 1 ? I feel extremely confident on the first core the next seems more challenging
Core 1 is a lot of memorization and knowing your hardware - I passed it with a week of studying. Core 2 for me felt like more about understanding the OS and different concepts - I just passed it today with about 4 days of studying. I would NOT recommend studying as little as I did though, as I passed by a very small margin haha.@@60ftunder90
I passed core 1 without much studying. I failed core 2. The PBQs were tough.
what was your score?
@@B1GTraV dude how many pbq’s did they give you?
Just passed both the ComptiaA+ exams in a month. Your tips and notes were really helpful. Here to say Thank you. Will start to study for Network+ now.
Just wanted to say that your notes were crucial in me passing my 1102 exam! Thank you so much
Thank you so much for doing this. Your videos helped me pass the core 1101 exam and hopefully this video will help me with the core 1102 exam. Appreciate the resources you provided and the callouts throughout the video.
Have to say the notes look useful.
Thank you for the tips in practising.
I used the free tests a lot for Core 1 and recommend it to everyone.
thanks for the notes! Left a thumbs up for the video!
Appreciate the video and resources you provided ! :)
I have my core 2 in 2 days time and this is probably the best video that I've seen to help you pass. those notes are freaking awesome man thank you
Hi, thanks for sharing. I am studying for CompTIA A+ and I appreciate the info. good luck with the CCNA test.
Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for the notes brother!!
Really helpful
Thanks for uploading this video. I found it very helpful and I like the fact that you included your notes from studying for the exam. A lot of users only include what study resources they used to study for the exam and not notes. Of course, I presume that's their prerogative but I definitely found the notes helpful.
God bless this man! I recently passed the Core 1, preparing for Core 2 and this here is gold, thank you C.A.!
love the study guide link, bro. thanks tons
Thank you so much this helps alot . and to the point
Thanks for the notes man!
You're a hero man, those notes are better than anything resource material I've ever seen
Thank you soooo much for this!
testing core 2 today, thanks man!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS.
Thank you for the study resources, I've passed the first exam and getting ready to take the 2nd exam for the A+
Thank you for the notes. Def appreciate
Great video, you uploaded it as I finished up your first video
Thank you and I’m glad you watched both videos. More content coming soon!
Thank you so so much for this
Thank you! Very nice layout 🎃
Very helpful. Thanks.
Thanks for the notes
I just got into the Ubuntu material and could already tell I needed to be able to go through Ubuntu and use the navigation and file management commands. Good to know I was right with that.
man i love how you did the notes. very clear and straight to the point
also, will you post other notes for core 1 and 2?
I’m glad my notes were helpful! I did have some notes on core 1 but unfortunately I lost them when I did a fresh OS install months back.
@@cyberacademics notes are amazing!!
I can’t find the notes please help
Thanks man!
Thank you!
Great video
great notes
Thanks!
Thank you
thank you!
Thanks for the video. I'm planning on taking Core 2 next month and need all the help I can get. I'm more familiar with building PC's and hardware, so Core 1 was way easier for me.
Nice video, taking my core 2 exam soon. Just on the practice exams at the minute. Great notes btw
Hey do you have any tips?
I'm glad to find your video today. I passed Core 1 yesterday and I found it exceedingly difficult. This video will help me better to prepare for Core 2. Thank you for your notes.
Core 1 was a challenge passed mine about 2 weeks ago It was nerve racking setting through the questions at the end
@@about30ninjas12for real man, i thought i was gonna fail, ended up passing 676/675 lol
@@about30ninjas12Just passed my Core 1 with the minimum score of 675 after studying for a month , definitely did not expect such a challenging exam hope I can better prepare for core 2
@@ehhh9511 that was my exact score as well lol good thing we studied just enough to pass
@@about30ninjas12 have you attempted your core 2 and did you pass ?
thank you
Thanks for sharing. Do you have the Notes for Core 1?
Thank you so much for the notes ! taking my 1102 exam next Wednesday. Kind of nervous and I feel like this test is a lot more difficult just cause I'm used to troubleshooting hardware. Wish me luck
Best of luck!
Me too
How did it go guys?
@@thedon151 I passed ! with a score of 714 I think currently submitting applications as we speak. Although it is kind of difficult to find a IT support specialist job right now[
Can you please tell me what program did you follow, and what materials did you use for learning?thabks
Thanks for all thar bro
Do you have any notes for the core 1? That s what I'm currently studying for
Passed 1101 with a 715 a few weeks ago and just started studying for 1102
Is there only notes on commands etc no security?
Also, good luck for Security +!
Dude can you list some performance based questions
Cureently in school and they didnt offer core 1. They are having me go staright into core 2. Im consistent with my studying so im hoping it isnt to hard. Im watching this b4 i even start the learning material.
Thanks for the video and the notes! Taking my exam in about an hour and I was looking to refresh on some things. Just a quick little note, your description of the cat command for linux is a little misleading, the cat command reads the contents from a file and displays it in the command line interface
Thank you for the support and I'm glad these resources have helped you! Unfortunately my google docs were made from my school account and they stopped using google services so I can no longer edit the file but you are completely correct. The cat command does what you said on reading the contents of a file not what I originally put in the google docs! I'm actually using Linux Mint and have gotten used to a lot of commands currently. Anyways thanks again!
Did you pass? What did you see? Can you help? I passed my 1101 but I’m very nervous about the 1102.
Where's the video for Core 1?
Hey cyber academics,I like your content is very useful for me.I was wondering if you could put outa video on the the 1102 core 2 exam performance base questions or even the ones you got when you took the core 2 exam.this will really help me.I been studying for the A+exam I been scoring 73% to 80% on the practice exams but I need to score higher to pass this exam.your help is really appreciated.thanks..
Thank you and sounds good! I think I will make a core 1 and core 2 quiz for everyone. Just been studying for the CCNA lately. Will definitely make a video soon!
@@cyberacademics ok thanks..
nice video you should make the notes printable though
That shirt is great
Viruses, Spyware, Malware etc. how to recognize & disinfect?
I passed both study with the objectives
Heyy mate, i just passed my Core 2 and i am now A+ Certified. Your notes and tips were very helpful, so thankyou for that.
For anyone planning to take this exam, in my experience, the PBQs were honestly kinda wierd/confusing and hard to prepare for. Also i was extremely studied and confident in my knowledge, but even with that, alot of questions threw me for a loop.
What i would say is just try to learn as much as you can, know your comands both windows/linux.
Know different file types etc.
It seemed to be just enough for me to pass, even though i did find the exam difficult, just with how compTIA ask and word their questions.
Goodluck everyone!
I could use your help
Hey what I would really like is what kind of jobs I can apply for with getting each certification
Thank you for the feedback and I will make a video on this soon!
What about Use Cases for Scripting? Do I need to construct programming language?
No this is not necessary, only basic commands for CLI my friend.
are both exams (core 1 & 2) multiple choice questions?
Yes, but you still have to be prepared for performance based questions like matching questions, simulation questions, fill in the blank and drag and drop questions.
Hi! I am new to your channel, very helpful video! would it be possible for you to share that study guide notes with me, please?
Not sure if this is still helpful to you, but a link to the notes is in the description of the video
Are their not any security questions? didn't see security notes. Objective said that was 25% of the exam
Yes they are on the exam! Security is at every level essentially of I.T. So it’s important to know. Things such as cable locks, types of network securities, and MDM are just a few things that may show up on the exam. Plus if you want to take Sec + in the future it helps to study these security measures now.
How do i go about to download your note? Thanks in advance for your time. Perry from Honolulu
Hi Perry, if you go to the description of this video and click on the very last link then this should take you to my google notes I used in the video!
keep up the good work, yours is the best that suited my need for a+ core 2. Perry
Good morning Sir! I'm studying A+ im done with 1 and i started with core 2 hoping to take 2 exams at same time?? Any advice
Great plan on studying both exams since it’s best to take one after the other so you don’t forget the concepts. Check out the PBQ playlist for code 1 and 2 on my channel. Those will help you out big time and good luck on your exam!
How many hours did it take for you to pass? I just passed part 1. Great video thank you again!
If you are talking about studying it took me about 3 months I believe. Took both in the same week. Took me about 45 minutes each exam. Also congrats!
Taking part 1 Tuesday can I speak with u
@@TDavis-lt8mg sure thing on here
I just passed Core 1, it was harder than I thought it would have been. I have Net+ and Sec+, and I wasn't expecting A+ core 1 to be so challenging.
Why are you taking A+ after already having higher level certs? Just curious and yes the exam can be a lot of word play.
@@cyberacademics A+ is extremely valuable. A+ serves the everyday man, while Net+ and sec+ serve the middle class and rich😂
I also noticed a mistake on your notes, correct me if I'm wrong but, It says map a network to a shared device? Do you mean map a shared network drive to a device?
If I said that then yes I worded it incorrectly. I didn’t realize until after how I rushed the notes before double checking them. Something’s need to be updated or changed.
@@cyberacademics Thank you i'll follow the guide and make sure I Memorize everything there. I will take this exam on the 1st of next month.
What were the PBQ's like on your exam btw ?
Here is a playlist of PBQs that should be very helpful. Good luck on your exam! Playlist: czcams.com/play/PL0F_-cwQjztAmieC5v5aDjWOyCbgHjpPX.html
@@cyberacademics you're the best, thanks
@@cyberacademics I PASSED thank you so much for your help
@@ToxicityForever I am so proud of you! Don’t forget to celebrate your huge achievement!
Heads up for those using his notes, windows 10 64 bit requires 32GB HD space, not 20GB, as per comptia guidlines. Great notes otherwise, im jotting it all down for prepping for my 1102 tomorrow
Thank you for your response! It’s 32GB needed for both versions. 20GB alone will work for Windows 10 64 bit. cheers.
He looks lime hindustani bhau
Port numbers are on the Core 2 exam?? Ports arent even on the Core 2 objectives.
You are right I didn’t see them on the objectives list. However, you still need to know them just in case they have a port question. I remember I had just a few questions on core 2 regarding port number.
@@cyberacademicsYeah, I asked a few others who recently took it and seems pretty savage to keep them off the objective list but I respect it. Thanks for the heads up!
The "port numbers" are going to be included somewhere under "Internet Application & Utility Protocols" (tcp/udp), but you're right-- the "port # topic" doesn't stand out on Core 2.
Anyway, if you have Mike Meyers book you can go to its Table of Contents & highlight the specific Chapters & areas where you see 1102 (like Internet Application Protocols etc). At least that has been helpful to me along with the Objectives. Best Wishes 😃
👊 "Promo sm"
I'm Network+ and A+ certified, my biggest suggestion is don't overthink things. The solution is often the most obvious.
Also don't be worried about PBQs, they're not as scary as you think. Also spend more time studying the actual exam objectives rather than videos about how someone else did it.
thanks for this, my issue whenever it comes test time is that I always think they’re out to trick me. I’ve always hated questions where they make the wording confusing on purpose
Thank you!
