    I've made an apple cider smoothie recently. It's so strong, but tastes so good at the same time. Next time I'll try to add a coconut water instead of regular water to make the taste smoother. Thank You so much for recipes Chris! You're my motivation for so long! 💪

      Because he used half a cup of an apple cider drink, not pure cider. You only need 1-2 tablespoon of ACV and dilute the rest with water.
      Or you can find the Braggs apple cider vinegar drink that he uses, but it’s just watered down with stevia

    These are some great ideas, and I’ll definitely be incorporating some of these ingredients into my morning smoothie. You should experiment with more frozen ingredients, I find that a colder smoothie goes down even easier. It makes things that much more efficient for me to have 60+ grams of protein or 800 calories in a smoothie(smaller than a pint) in the morning.

    • @Eggdad

      what do you usually have in your smoothies?

    • @kenmitchell3027
      @kenmitchell3027 Před rokem

      Abuse peanut butter, egg whites, and protein powder if you’re looking for more calories + protein. Something like powdered peanut butter will be more expensive, but it’ll have less than half the calories per tbsp if you’re looking for that flavor/protein, but not the calories.

    • @kenmitchell3027
      @kenmitchell3027 Před rokem

      As for frozen ingredients, I used to freeze bananas that were getting overly ripe, then I would use half of one per smoothie. I’d add up to 100 grams of frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, mango, simply any frozen fruit. I’d add a heap of baby spinach, sometimes flax or chia seeds, protein powder(usually a less sweet vanilla, the smoothie will be sweet enough with any amount of fruit). I’d mostly always use almond milk. It’s good to understand that fruit is still sugar(just not processed sugar), and it’s still about 100 calories per 100 grams. Peanut butter goes about 200 calories per 2 tbsp. Experiment what works with you, but 8 oz of liquid to 100-150 frozen fruit leave the smoothie at a pretty optimal state

    There's some studies aswell that there are even more nutrients in that lemon rhine that we throw away. You could also put it in the smoothie to get even more nutrients.
    This video is going in my archives for sure.

    • @butterbruhh
      @butterbruhh Před 2 lety +2

      @@DriftingStudent No sir, it's actually not. In fact if you are health consious and want more benefits that might be hard to get other wise, why not right? It's cheaper then going out to get them right since it's already there. Everyone has a different medical history as why.
      I don't mean to self promote any other channels but, since Chris said do your own due diligence. Just type in *Dr.Berg Lemons*.
      There's a specific video that talks about whole lemons and their benefits. Also how to make them less bitter in smoothes if it's too much. Chris does an amazing job here going in detail on that.
