me too i really like sonic 06 and i have a lot of fun playing it,people just hate it only because of a few glitches that aren't too probelmatic and i actually prefer it to sonic generations
I absolutely love sonic 06 to bits. That being said, I do have 1 massive complaint with it... the sheer amount of loading screens.
In the console it takes lot of time to load but in Xenia emulator it takes 2 seconds to load
that part in frontiers traps you in a box so there is no way to escape
Its already confirmed that the OG manager left the team unprepared what to do to finish Sonic 06. Its not the hardware, I can easily handle the game. It was just very unfinished and killed the franchise. The sonic fans is the reason why sonic is still continuing till this day.

Being a nerd here, but, technically SA2 didn't counted, because Badniks are the robots made by Eggman, the GUN Robots are not badniks, they are robots, Badniks in SA2 can only be founded in the Hero Pyramid levels, those are made by Eggman, almost all of them are also present in Sonic Adventure 1 and drop animals when destroyed
Same with Shadow the Hedgehog, since the Black Arms and GUN Soldiers arenito created by Eggman, you can only find Badniks in stages that Eggman made or dominated I'm almost sure
Same with Secret Rings and Black Knight, there are not badniks in that game as long as I know
And same for Frontiers since the Badniks are only found in Cyberspace and the robots in the islands like the enemies, Guardians and Titans are Ancient's Technology
