Nicola Doran but homing attack is a new feature, it never came up back then (Dreamcast era sonic not included)
It is fun to play, but Adventure 3 it is *not*

I C Sa2 and Sadx's Sonic's faces are different than the Newer one, because model quality was bad.
it's nothing to do with modern sonic. (graphics or boosting) think of speed highway/city escape in sonic generations. think of a remake of Sonic Adventure 1/2! that'd be perfect. this fan level feels more like something you'd get in modern sonic games. (generations/forces) the whole idea with calling this a sequel to an old game, would be that it takes inspiration only from that game. this took inspiration from modern sonic, so that's why it the title isn't right. if the official creators made this level and called this sa3, they could, but it still wouldn't represent sa1 or sa2. just like the actual sa3 they made. sonic heroes! it's very different. so yeah, this were just a generic sonic fan game. aspiring to be like the ideal modern sonic, whilst aspiring to represent before modern sonic were a thing.

Man, I would LOVE to have a sonic game start like that...it would be really fun to play with super sonic in 3D again, and I think a great way to start the game would be to have sonic already with the emeralds, gather some rings, and then go super, like training or something.

Firstly, just wanna say this is a really cool fangame, i hope they continue it, they should just change the name.
To be honest though, it's fangames like these that make it obvious there is no consensus on what sonic adventure 3 should be and why i don't think SA3 should be made.

Yeah I usually hate how GDK controls, but this felt pretty decent.
Garrulous64 Green Hill Paradise Act 2 Final Mix is good too, but has a high skill requirement to go fast or have fun.

If you call this an Adventure game then you have to call Sonic 4 a classic Sonic game just saying. I like this fangame but the title needs to be changed. We loved Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 because of the Adventure formula hence the name. This is more like a halfway between Sonic Color/Generations and Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Has the level design but not the controls.
The adventure series for me is defined by levels you can explore and control more freely in rather than just boosting down a corridor. Levels you can really have an "Adventure" in. Also, I feel like Sonic 4 was marketed as a Classic game.
Garrulous64 Well this fangame is linear, like most modern sonic games.
I didn't show a lot of the cave part because it pissed me off with how awkwardly it was designed, but it has two or three pathways you can take and a few open areas for you to destroy robots and find secrets. It's not strictly a run from opening of cave to ending of cave.

What are Sonic 06 was Sonic Adventure 3 at one point, but since they couldn't iron out all the bugs that's why it it was renamed to just Sonic the hedgehog with caps lock

I wouldn't exactly call it adventure 3, especially since it begins with G R E E N. H I L L. but it does have the mechanics and gameplay right, adding boost was cool as well, but I don't think it was really needed. I love it mainly because it runs well on my computer at any resolution.
Let's be honest, if they make an Adventure 3, Green Hill is going to be in there somewhere.

Dude it wasn't over, metal sonic went to the most upper platform at the end. Some very hard to see red hoops spawn somewhere at the end that launch u upwards there, so u had to beat metal sonic one last time there with homing attacks while there. U couldn't hit him while he was going there
A homing attack reticle appeared on him so I figured the boss fight just glitched out. Those hoops are way too inconspicuous with their spawning. The one in the cave that helps you get out took way too long to find because it was too dark.
Garrulous64 when i firat played this, in the cave, i died too many times trying to find the spawning hoop in the cave. I knew its location was suspicious but as much as i went there i was baffled i couldn't find anything but then i saw it by accident once after so many searches and experimenting with the platforms near it. It was soooooo frustrating repeating the level and u were sure there should've been that hoop there and it was all along. Btw in the area where u beat 2 robots and the hoop spawns, i remember there was more stuff after this section but i suppose u cut it off from ur footage. Never mind, just checked and u cut it till the end
