Nice tutorial!!
You can also scatter objects way easier. Just enable the scatter object add-on in Blender, then select the object that you want to scatter and then the object you want to scatter on.
Then just in the top left, click object, scatter object and then you can draw on the plane to scatter the Object on it. If your happy with the placement of the objects just click enter and your done!

Looks good. Adding an old broken down , sun bleached ,wooden wagon would add spice or just a half buried skeleton with an old cowboy hat , torn and weathered , nearby .would also work . AI is taking over all of this stuff from image scenes to 3d models to animating it all and I think that eventually it will make all of these programs obsolete . Just a note: AI is a real danger to almost everything and will begin to dominate everyday life more and more as time goes on so be informed . :O)

0:34 how did you select both x and y dimensions to change the values at the same time ?

g to move it, and then press shift+z
shift + any axis key will move anything on all axis except the one you're pressing if that makes sense
for example if i pressed shift+x it would only move it on the y and z axis :)
this same shortcut works for scaling and rotating too

@@novocai_ne i tried shift+ axis keys to move ,scale and rotate it works .. but it's different from what you did at 0:34 , you typed values in tranform tab both x and y at the same time. i tried shift ,ctrl and other key combinations it didn't work. could you please enable that option where we can see any key you press

all you do is you just left mouse click and drag select both values
