Restoration of a 1/16 Scale Tiger Tank - Rust, Dust and Mud

- This Video is Part 5 of my big 1/16 Tiger Tank Restoration. In this video the restoration ends with a lot of rust and mud treatment. Especially tank tracks need a lot of weathering to become more lifelike, especially metal tracks.
Overall, the hole project was a lot of work. It is a difference between self made mistakes during the build of a 1:16 model kit and erase the work of somebody else. There was never a workstep that was finished in an easy and fast way. My estimated time schedule exploded after a few days.
Anyway, now it is done and I like the result.

I’m just starting my restoration of a HengLong 1/16th RC Tiger 1 but I’m hoping to keep mine mobile 🙏🙏🙏 she’s all stripped down and I’ve clean her down and like you I found quite a lot of damaged or completely missing parts 🥴😔mine doesn’t have the Zimmerit coating either so I have to add my own 🥴🤪😂 I have built quite a few 1/35th Tiger 1’s but this is my first Big Cat 😍😍😍 I’m extremely glad I’ve watched all your videos as they’ve given me some wonderful on-site into repairing my broken exhaust stacks missing tools and that aerial mod you did was superb and just what I needed. I was/am extremely impressed with your camouflage to very nicely done if I may say so 🤓😎😍 and considering how she came to you, now she looks a 1000 times better and ready for action 😄😎😍 your friend is a very lucky person to be getting back such a beautiful looking example of a truly magnificent Tank… the Tiger 1 😍😍😍 well done on a wonderful restoration 🙏🙏🙏😎😍👍👍👍👍👍👍 do you think you might now get your own one… cheep as chips off eBay especially if they’re broken I got mine with shipping in U.K. for £35 so not bad considering her size 😍😍😍 are there any useful tips you could pass on from this build 🤔 I know you covered a lot in the videos but any other things to watch out for or be careful of/with please 🙏🤞👍 any help would be greatly received 😃🙏😍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Unfortunately the electric components are out of order. Repair or exchange will cost too much. Maybe in a far future. 😁
@@DIORAMUS- oh OK..maybe some eBay too. It's so cool to see these models will move. But yeah it's expensive compared to raw plastic. I've updated my model to an elmod main board and gun smoke.
