In the early 1970's we still had troops in Vietnam, my 3 years at that time in the USArmy were spent driving a tank around training to engage Russia. All this time the USA has spent BILLIONS of dollars because of the threat of Russia. Now Ukraine has them on the back foot and could take them even further back IF they were supplied with the equipment to do so.

It's the old cliché about "garbage in, garbage out". Your comment that Speaker Johnson has done "a complete turnaround" is garbage out, because it is based on a "garbage in" assumption that he never favored supporting Ukraine. He has always supported Ukraine, and he has said that to the press, to President Biden, and to President Zelinsky. Johnson's problem is, and has been, that too many of his fellow republicans believe he sided with democrats too easily on too many issues that were important to the hard-core republicans. So he has made no "turn around"- he was simply finally successful at herding the cats in order to get something done.
Russia is getting troops cheap if they actually get these contract soldiers. After all, after they're dead, they don't have to be paid anymore.
Now apply that logic to the Ukrainians.

If Russia is using a significant number of these Chinese golf carts in combat missions across the front line, it indicates that the RA is running out of armored vehicles - that a normal army would use, to carry soldiers to the contact line. If Ukraine continues to "lose" small battles by giving up meters of land, while the RA's hardware and manpower is eliminated, then given that US funding is now likely to resume, then Ukraine should win this war of attrition.
Golf carts work in soft ground in the spring, while a large amount of vehicles for a major assult are being built. Should be considered. Ukraine should have learned a few lessons to the point that when funding comes through you build gas powered drones that return for a reload and then you will have used the money wisely. Stupid would be the way to use money the other way. You would have to ask the USA government to send 2 cylindar, 2 cycle , boxer motors with a prop on the front and rear of the crank. Then you can build your own drones with quick connect parts.

Also, Russia is counting on Ukraine not being able to resist Russia.

As predicted, Iran's presence has nudged US politics toward national defense rhetoric. The 'good news' is both parties can save face over a common enemy and fund Ukraine.

Biden is pretty friendly with Iran. He has given them billions of dollars in hostage payments, relief from sanctions, and other channels. He did next to nothing when Iran was attacking our interests through proxies. He tells Israel to leave them alone.

Johnson changed for possibly 2 reasons 1) There is a very strong Israeli lobbying group in USA which applied pressure on Trump & Johnson 2) Johnson son is turning 18 & joining the military academy & may have to fight in a future war in Europe against Russia if Ukraine cannot contain Russia

Sure they do, but that's not exactly easy. These drones are made mostly from plastics, so they have a really tiny radar reflection.
