About the F-16's versus Russian air defenses - The Israelis have been flying F-16's against Russian made air defense systems all over the Middle East for years, dating back to Saddam's nuclear reactor being blown up in 1981. The Ukrainians may want to think about consulting the Israelis as well,
All of the planes that Israel’s getting from US are coming without electronics. Israelis are putting their own computers and other stuff in planes and that includes even F35s. They don’t share their tech even with US, so I have some doubts that they will share it with Ukrainians.

15:00 Sukhoi SU 35 is marketed as having a 350 km range against 3 m^2 target while in reality that’s only in cued-search in a tiny FoV. What’s rarely stated is that in normal volume search that range shrinks down to 200 km. And when it comes to targeting it's 250km BUT then the plane need to be big like a B-52.
While F-16 will get AN/APG-68 which have up to 300km.
So in what way can SU-35 see and shoot down F-16 before F-16 can do it?

The F-16 is a very nimble aircraft. With the right application, they can still be very effective, even against a superior force. Remember, one of the most important role of the air force is interdiction, that is, locating and destroying anti-aircraft systems. None of that requires going into Russian territory since these systems usually have limited range. Note that these are different than the anti-missile systems which have longer ranges but which are not necessarily effective against aircraft (especially fighters) that can quickly change direction and altitude, rather than flying on a predictable ballistic trajectory. However, the biggest threat to Ukraine will remain the drones. A fighter won't be effective against a small, relatively slow flying drone carrying a 50kg explosive charge. So even with air superiority, Ukraine will still be vulnerable to attack from airborne drones. Which, of course, begs the question of what the appropriate definition of "air superiority" is on today's battlefield.
Wouldn't piston-engined aircraft be a good alternative in the fight against Shahed-type drones. What about the A 29 Super Tucano?

Loved the story I read today about a Ukrainian Grandpa, Oleksandr Taran, who leads a over-60 unit fighting Russian forces for free.😮
The all volunteer unit "the Steppe Wolves" is compromised of dozens of Ukrainian men over 60, who are considered too old to be drafted, but still want to fight.
Roving behind the frontline with truck mounted rocket launchers, they take orders from field commanders and work with other troops, despite lacking official support from the military.
The unit is funded by donations and stocked with faulty rounds, they repair themselves, as well as weapons captured from the enemy.

If we assume that larger pandas play a larger role in the ecosystem (corresponding to the larger production capacities of the refineries), the following could be prioritized:
Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery (represented by the largest panda) - As this panda has one of the largest production capacities, its "rescue" could have a significant impact on the health of the entire reserve.
Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorod Refinery - Another giant panda whose well-being is essential for the balance of the reserve.
Gazprom Neft Moscow Refinery - This panda also plays an important role and would be one of the first to be rescued.
By focusing on the largest and most influential pandas, Ukraine could make the biggest positive impact on the reserve in this scenario by concentrating resources where they can make the biggest difference. Of course, the goal in this "game" is to save all the pandas, but resources and urgency could influence the decision of who comes first.
But when the bamboo runs out, what will they eat next?!

It was a grey zone, the reason is that supplying troops there is problematic and it doesnt make much sense having positions there unless you immediatly use it to launch an attack over the Dnjepr. No battle took place, the ukranians simply entered this zone. Why? Perhaps having a media victory, but its really not important, otherwise the russian would have had some defensive positions there. Cherson is a bigger city, of course it was important. Snake island isn't and was never of any importance. Any troops there are sitting ducks and there is ONE destroyed building on this tiny rock.

America doesnt win Dogfights in the Air or Air dominance by having a whole bunch of F16 compared to the enemy. America has coordinated highly trained Pilots and all other recipes involved too. Like ground support, Navy support and Aircraft Carriers, precision wespons, many other different Fighter jets (besides a few extra F16s) involved...ect
Ukraine could get alot more F16s and still be missing stuff. The Russian Aircraft is not better because Ukraine has less. Its a combination of things that are involved in a successful win. F16s aren't worse then Russian jets. Not even close. They could easily be outdone with coordination and a well equipped military. Hopefully F16s help Ukraine but your right Im sure Russia has a lot more of what's needed. Ukraine needs to focus on just keeping what's left of their land at this point. F16s will hopefully help with that.
The only defensive role for F-16's in Ukraine is BARCAP as they are good for quick scrambles.
I believe Ukraine intends to take the fight right to the fronts with these. The Israelis & Pakistanis rarely hesitate to fly their F-16's in harm's way. They trust the platform to deliver in high-hazard environments with uncertain OPFOR, as did the US with F-16's flying both air-to-ground & air-to-air missions over Yugoslavia.
Expect little air-to-air from these, but plenty of air-to-ground.

It depends on the nation piloting the f16’s, experience counts. Imagine Ukrainian pilots who recently learnt how to fly f16’s going up again American,Israeli,Dutch or any western country that operates f16’s, some of these pilots have been flying for 20 years and over especially American fighter pilots.
You don’t learn how to drive a formula one car for a little over a year and expect to beat Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso or Max verstappen In a race.
It’s gonna take some time
And as capable as the f16’s are the Russians still has the experience advantage.
Hmmm at the rate the Russians are dropping a/c ??? Apparently Russian pilots are not that well trained
