01:31 Launch MobileTrans on your computer, select Phone Transfer icon.
01:40 Connect both android devices to your computer.
01:51 Check the order of target device and source device.
01:58 You can click on the Flip icon to change the order.
02:01 Select the type of data you want to transfer.
02:10 Click on the Start button.
No.2 Use Bluetooth to transfer SMS between android phones
*This may not be supported on new android devices
03:26 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on both android devices and pair them by confirming the passcode.
03:35 Go to the messages APP on source device, and select the messages you want to transfer.
03:38 Go to settings, choose send/share, send the SMS via Bluetooth.
03:50 Tap the target device to send the SMS.
03:56 Tap agree on the pop-up window in target device to receive SMS.
No.3 Transfer by SMS backup & restore APP
04:40 Download SMS backup & restore APP on both android devices.
04:56 Launch the APP on both devices, and choose transfer your messages.
05:10 Tap send from this phone on source device.
05:13 Tap receive on this phone on target device.
05:25 Simply tap the target device in the list.

The problem I’m having with syntax is that it put it on a different text message app and it forces me to use that one. And I don’t like it or want it. I want my old default app it is being held hostage and it’s frustrating. Why is this so freaking hard we are in 2020 not 1995?

Are these apps safe from 3rd party intervention and data leak?
do both of the devices need an active sim card? I'm currently downgrading and don't want to go thru the hassle of doing it with at&t
3rd one was the best
My problem is that I tried transferring using Samsung transfer app but it didn't transfer all messages. Now if I try to log back in on old phone I need sim and account info and it's want to switch everything over again just to download the app only to then move it all over again. Even if I don't transfer anything over it wants all the google permission settings in place.

What is the best solution for me? Sprint has merged with Tmobile. I want to save all my contacts and texts before updating my sim card to Tmobile network. I'm afraid to lose anything by starting with the sim first

My new phone only received photo's inside my texts. The words, the information I Need did NOT get transfered. No one can tell me why. I've spent DAYS on this and have to trade in my old phone and will lose years of client information. Sms transfer claims my old phone keeps running out of room and can't send anything to my new phone. Makes no sense. I am Moving things OFF the old phone. Why would it eat up 4+GB to do that??

you gabble so fast I am dizzy - way to fast for comprehension. Plus, I haven't a clue how I am meant to transfer from the old Android, switched on, with sim card in it, to the new Android phone which cannot have the new sim in it yet....so this is totally indecipherable to me.
