- Me and the British Legend @harryjaggardtravel take a stroll into the beautiful city of Munnar India. It is both of ours' first time visiting Munnar and we share with you what our impressions are as we take a rickshaw (auto) down to the center of town. Upon arrival, our first stop is to try out some delicious tea that is locally grown and made. After that, we venture into the market and visit multiple areas of the downtown and finish off by having a meal and heading back to the hotel. Munnar is amazing!!

‘Tuk Tuk’ is actually a motorcycle (mostly Rajdhoot) converted into an auto. It is a vanishing species, once prevalent in Delhi and the north.
North Indians and Pakistanis might find it shocking to see a small shopkeeper speaking English in Kerala.
That's Tamil Nadu. We most of us can understand and can speak English. Somebody from Central Government got jealous of that and compelling us to change the language Hindi instead of English. We have two languages in schools local language and English both are compulsory.

my childhood vacation place . my uncle's family still live in Munnar . I used to come for summer vacation during 1990s . No traffic and the town used to be much more clean .

Whenever I need a break I drive to munnar and stay in some resort, enjoy the greenery and weather... 💚
Try visiting or travel thru the GAP ROUTE in munnar, since you are in munnar. The ride there is amazing. You will get amazing scenery.
Or better still, make a trip thru Munnar - valparai- athirampally. It is one of the best roads to go. You will get to see wild animals, forests, dams, waterfalls, amazing tea plantations ect.

The sugar cube is an ancient tradition where you hold the cube between your teeth as you drink the tea and the cube slowly dissolves and sweetens the tea before you swallow each mouthful.
It's definitely not an Indian tradition.
That is supposed to be kept in the cup/glass and not in mouth, common sense.
