  • This was a two week job. I had a problem with the motor, so I had to purchase another one. This antique GE Whiz table fan was produced in 1920. Beautiful piece that was in a very bad shape. I didn't turn the fan on in the moment I received it to avoid damage its 100 years old motor. I like the combination of dark green with the brass. It's very elegant. That was a fun fan restoration and the first time I restore this kind of thing. What do you think about the final result? Leave your comments below.

It's interesting to get something working 100 years after it was manufactured. I have an interest in old TV's. My interest in retro gaming lead to antique CRT televisions.

Just picked up a 1914 GE alternating current non-osculating fan. I plan on just cleaning, polishing the brass, & replacing the cord

Wonder if this had any influence on NASA naming the Ge Whiz Rocket Sled? 😆

Excellent restoration - It turned out beautiful!
Please hire a videographer! - When you sped up the video while zoomed in to your work it was like watching video from a tiny GoPro camera attached to the head of a squirrel that just snorted 2 lines of Crack Cocaine! - I had to forward the video to the end.
