As we all would’ve guessed there hasn’t been a clear qb1 the whole season just like in this game. But ridder has surprised me. He has good pocket presence
IMO of all the QBs in this draft Ridder is the QB I would take a chance on. So many of these other QBs have flaws from hand size to small arm talent.
The Texans should draft him
@@jorgevecinocastro3407 Texans would be the PERFECT spot for him
@@joshromero-burgan9860 hell no they just got Davis Mills who was literally the best Rookie Qb last Season even when he is on the texans

I’ve had my eye on a couple of RBs but I’m convinced, Rashaad White is the guy, made lots of plays

That would actually be pretty cool
It’d make more sense in Madden
@@zachcoggins9018 it could be at the end of the season like a pro bowl.
There was an similar College All-Star Game in the older madden games.
@@zachcoggins9018 how?
@@K9_hiker because their is really no point of having an the senior bowl in a college football when all the The coaches in the senior bowl are NFL coaches or NFL scouts all the coaches in college really don’t care after your eligibility it up so it would make more sense to have madden so you can have a preview on how to player moves in a NFL setting but I would say they should like have like a imported senior list so you can see who made the senior bowl and then you can play it on madden
Perrion Winfrey. Oklahoma Sooners Defensive Tackle Wins MVP with 2 Sacks and 3 TFL's
I’m so happy for the guys from Tennessee I’m thankful for all that they poured into our program guys like Velus Jones Jr. have really helped to bring the program back
I go to the same high school Alontae Taylor went to. I love Alontae. Way to represent Coffee County
This is the best football all-star game there is. The kids are all motivated to impress NFL teams, and guys show up and show out each year; never dissapoint. Saw some real interesting prospects, particular at edge rusher and running back
Not the best senior bowl the best was two years ago...The NFL scouts was out at the game most will likely get drafted some may not.
*Perrion Winfrey was a BEAST! Dominated the entire game. MVP of the game for me.
*RB’s class looks deep with Baylor/UH/Arizona State backs.
*QB’s not deep at all. The only one that showed an OK’ish performance was Ridder.
*TE Like the kid McBride physical in the line of scrimmage & can run after the catch. Steal in the late 2nd round.
*Safety/DB looks decent few have potential with right coaching/scheme to propel themselves as future starters.
Oline?
@@kvngty0421 What o-line? I didn't see one in this game.
It's going to be even more deep with the 2 Georgia backs who were also seniors so idk how they didn't get to play in this game

Perrion Winfrey lived up to the hype from practice and it translated in this game. I see early 2nd round
Would love for my Giants to take him. We need help on both sides of the trenches.
Desmond Ridder looks damn good outside the pocket, think he's gonna be a 1st rd pick along with Willis and Pickett. All the Zappe fan boys walking wit their heads down today tho lol

Poor guy is used to it.
Just glad these guys played, showcased their skills.
This is more fun than the NFL pro bowl
Yeah cause these guys are actually playing for something
this is wayyy better then the pro bowl which shows you how much these kids want to get to the big stage.
Looks like the edge rushers were feasting!!!!!
Perrion Winfrey and Travis Jones had themselves a day too (from the interior).
Agreed. Not sure if that's a reflection on the strength of that unit in general, or it's the lack of talent in this draft at offensive tackles. Either way, several guys play well on the edge
@@RDSports5 Well none of top tackles were there this week(Evan Neal, Ikem Ekwonu, Charles Cross, and Kenyon Green who is kind of inconsistent) I think this class does have some talent at the tackle position.
Desmond Ridder played well!
Sure did! Good pocket movement and was very accurate!
He played like he always plays. He has been my QB 1 since before the 2021 season and he still is my QB 1. i like Kenny Pickett too and do not hold this week against him because he showed that it took him a bit of time to get comfortable at Pitt and it will take him time to do that at the next level too. His glove hands are going to make him fall and this week did him no favors. he went from QB 1 to day 2 this week.
Most of his plays though came out of play-action and were schemed very well, not a lot of improv, not that you can blame him for his coaches calling plays that are easy to execute.
@@jesusoftheapes “Always has”..

Pickett-Steelers or Broncos
Willis-Panthers or Lions
Howell-Vikings or Seahawks
As a Steelers fan, I’d easily be the most happy with Pickett. Extremely cerebral, great pocket presence, great mobility, fantastic throw on the run, really doesn’t get much better for a franchise QB. I think Willis is gonna be a bust so I don’t think I want him very much🤷♂️
Ridder in Cleveland, best fit!

Was really looking forward to watching the senior bowl! Wait it's on the only channel it could possibly be on that I can't watch it. Great job NFL a game that actually has some meaning. Can't wait to watch the joke of a pro bowl has become..no thanks

Perrian whinfrey and Travis jones looked good stock rose for sure but also Watson out of North Dakota I felt played a well rounded game
Like i taught Howell and Ridder are the best QB prospects in this draft. Winfrey really impressed me and as a Raiders fan we could get him in the second round because we need a dominate DT
Appreciate that boss first
there it is!!
The Senior Bowl is underrated. I hope it gets more marketing in the future. Would also be nice to see it played in actual NFL stadiums. Put these guys in some shit weather in like Pittsburgh and lets see how they do then.
They had bad weather all week in practice
I don't think top players would show up for shit weather. Too much injury risk right before the draft.
And Kenny Pickett played pretty much like his entire home career where? Desmond Ridder of Cincy wasn't exactly in sunny climes. And Bailey Zappe, Sam Howell, Malik Wills, and the guy from Providence of Brown University whose name momentarily escapes me were known for an Eastern frosty afternoon a time or two. Nonetheless as a lifelong Browns fan I understand your point. LONG time since a World Championship was actively contested there!🍊🍫🏈😏B.W.

Is there a way to find footage of the full game?
what did austria get from central michigan? we get to be proud to have the first austrian player picked in the draft (hopefully)
Here's my thoughts on the QB situation:
Pickett did decent but got help from a great receiver to help him keep a perfect 6/6 completion percentage. He got his team into the endzone on his 2nd drive, so a pretty solid performance. His draft stock didn't move up nor down in my opinion (partly due to his draft stock already being the highest of all this year's QBs).
Ridder did an excellent job, with his only blemish being two incompletions (total C/A being 4/6). A QB's job is to get the team down the field and score points and Ridder did that twice in only three drives. That speaks volumes. He also showed great pocket awareness and can throw accurately while on the run. His draft stock definitely went up the most of all the QBs today. (on an interesting side note, Ridder was the ONLY QB that didn't get sacked in this game).
Willis did a so-so job as a Quarterback. He showed great runs, which is great... if you are trying to be a running back, not a QB. His QB performance was minimal, with only 2-4 completions and ultimately never scored a single point despite him personally getting the ball to a first and goal position. I'd say his draft stock took a slight drop today.
Strong did the worst on his team for the QB position, and he's the only one of those three to throw an interception in that team. There wasn't much to say positive about him other than he does have a strong arm at least. Other than that, his draft stock took a tumble. (though not the worst of all the QBs today...)
Sam Howell is very much in a similar boat as Willis. He ran on more downs than he threw for, so hard to judge his QB ability when he barely showed it. Plus, on those running plays, he only checked if one person was open, then immediately bolted when they weren't. In most of those runs, I saw 1-2 open players that he never even bothered to look for. Also, unlike Willis, he had two strip-sacks in the first half that his team luckily saved him from being turnovers. It pains me to say this as I had been rooting for him since early into the 2020 season, but I think his draft stock took a notable hit here.
Zappe had the worst performance of all QBs that played in this game today. He had multiple interceptions, his situational awareness was zero (thus, all the sacks he got), and his completion percentage wasn't stellar either. With Zappe having the most playing time of all the quarterbacks, he had plenty of time to show what he was capable of, yet he showed a pretty lackluster performance. Overall, I'd be surprised if he even gets drafted in the 6th round with that performance. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go undrafted.
With all that being said, combined with the team spotter notes I've read so far, I think Ridder brought himself into the top 3 of the quarterback rankings for this draft, behind only Pickett and Corral. Those three I could see being first round picks and possibly even being starting QBs too. Willis and Howell are definitely 2nd or 3rd round drafts to me. Still solid choices and would make good 2nd QBs to start as they have a lot of potential, but that potential isn't showing quite yet for them to be starters immediately.
As for my guesses of where they would go...
Steelers - Ridder (as the Steeler's QB spotter kept seeing Ridder as a young Big Ben, so he'd likely jive the best with their current team).
Bucs - Pickett (He's got glimpses of that Tom Brady-esque flair to his game, so wouldn't surprise me if he ends up there)
Broncos - Corral (He can run and has good arms, it would make for a dangerous offense combined with their strong RB pair there)
Washington - Howell (I think he can get nurtured into a Josh Allen like threat, so he'd probably be a 2nd QB there while he develops into the starter)
Browns - Willis (His running game is good, but can learn a thing or two from watching Mayfield's throws before developing enough to get the better of Mayfield)
Those are my picks of where the top 5 QBs would land.
I disagree with the Howell performance I think his stock boosted he drove his team down feel and scored a TD, his line was getting lit up and he showed good pocket awareness and threw some good balls
@@seanduffy8746 Rather than pocket awareness, he simply checked if his go-to receiver was open and immediately ran (regardless of pressure) when that one receiver wasn't open. He left a lot on the table by bailing on the play when there was no pressure on him. He showed better running back potential than he did quarterback potential.
Also, his situational awareness was clearly an issue in the first half with multiple sacks, including two strip sacks fumbles that would have been turnovers had his team not gotten to the ball first in both occasions.
His QB performance was a C/A of 6/9 for 68 yards with average yards being 7.4 and no touchdowns, with two fumbles.
His Running Back performance was 5 carries for 29 yards and a touchdown.
This was across 5 drives
In comparison,
Ridder's QB performance was a C/A of 4/6 for 67 yards with average yards being 11.3 yards per carry and 2 touchdowns, with no interceptions/sacks/fumbles.
Ridder's RB performance was 3 carries for 12 yards and no touchdown.
This was across just 3 drives (yes two touchdowns in just three drive attempts)
@@xboxbam3979 you can’t only compare this game tho being 1 read is however Howell a big problem but that’s the same with wills, that’s why ridder is my favorite but ridder my qb3 but I think he will be the best if he goes the the right situation I think Howell is going to be the most entertaining I’d say Howell is like a more athletic Kirk cousin potential but he has a rocket arm showed I think he showed good urgency considering they had to drive the field for potential points that the kicker missed at the end of half so he lead a TD drive and a scoring drive on under 2 minutes with (could be wrong) but his incomplete weren’t 2 throwaways but he had a very solid performance that team was clearly getting dog walked at the line but he did better then Willis the performance would go 1.ridder, 2 Pickett even if he didn’t really show anything gray didn’t show anything bad, 3, Howell slight over 4. Willis, 5 strong, 6 zappe sucked
@@xboxbam3979 that’s also what you have to remember he was orchestrating under 2 minute drive scenario so he couldn’t really do a progress through his reads because it’s take your guy, get yards and go as fast as possible so 2 scoring drives in 5 drives isn’t bad plus he moves the ball Willis was 3 and out until he made that fantastic run but that’s all Willis showed
Wish pro bowl was close to this exciting
This was a lot more interesting than the pro bowl
WR Christian Watson (N. Dakota St) will be drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as their #1 receiver
That's like the pro bowl speed for some guys & I need to BE SEEN TODAY for others
This game was way more entertaining than the pro bowl
Which qb from this class will be a game changer I like pickett but that qb from Cincinnati might be the big surprise but I honestly don’t know not the best draft this year
I think Sam Howell is still the best his drop-off in production is mainly due to a drop-off in the talent around him. This year (and this game) really emphasized his ability to improvise. Howell has a good arm, good mobility/pocket presence, and specifically in his first two years as starter (you know when he had NFL talent around him) he was good at not turning the ball over. Ridder is growing on me though and Willis has been a roller coaster all season.
@@marcusostrander5971 drafts like this are probably the more interesting ones anyway the unknown makes it un predictable
@@meat1880 Yah I agree as someone who makes NFL Mock Drafts pretty much everyday it's nice to have some surprises week to week.

@@marcusostrander5971 yeah, losing great WRs and RBs can make anyone look worse than they are.
Ridder and Howell look good. This is the year of the linemen for the Steelers though. The QB position is not worth a high draft pick this year. It's time to get those strong and tough linemen on o and d.
Ehhh not exactly sure about that I like either Ridder or Willis and Howell but if they do go o line get Tyler Lindebaum
@@tiyalewhitehurst338 Great Offensive Line and Skill Players will make any of these Professional Quartbacks look good enough to make the playoffs. It's clear the Steelers weakest link is in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Sam Howell is going to be a backup in this league for a long time.
Myjai sanders is a draft steal probably the most explosive edge in the draft

Bailey Zappe attempted a Davis Mills like story!
I was curious about Zappe with those impressive stats and I didn't watch the game but with what I saw from this reel, his draft stock may have plummeted.
His and Howells. The American offensive line was getting destroyed all game which allowed Willis to show off his ability to improvise. Howell made some good plays with his legs which should somewhat help him, but Zappe is a pocket passer and that was not gonna thrive behind that OL. Give credit to the Nationals DL they dominated
@@samturley9372 That’s good to know tho. Guys like Carson Strong, Mac Jones, Zappe, Tom Brady, Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff, Jimmy G, etc. need great OLine play to succeed. So if you’re a team that has a great OLine maybe you consider him in the 2nd or 3rd round, but if you have shaky OLine play, stay far away

Mind blowing that college seniors playing a bowl game for the fans would be more intense the the top pro players playing a bowl game for the fans. Pro bowl was a joke but thankfully the senior bowl was good.
This game really showed a negative side to Howell that I didn’t really like. Has no pocket awareness, even when he attempted to step up in the pocket, it was timing rather than actual players around him. Same with Carson Strong, just unaware of what’s going on around them. Ridder on the other hand was great at sending the pressure, Zappe was bad
Anyone know why some/most of these players rep a bunch of University logos on their helmets? Is that their offers out of High School/JUCO?
Im going to assume you're serious as ridiculous as that seems.. These are all college players. This game has nfl rules and a special format to act as a showcase for them. These are guys declaring for the nfl draft. Not highschool seniors. They wear their regular helmet from their university.
