I kind of wish some NPC's had specific secrets. At least some of the base game sims like the Goths and Landgraabs. Could just be already know lore or something new.

Apparently, according to a video I saw by Whiny Brit in one of her Scenarios videos, there's another way to add blackmail to your gameplay. If you give a moderate, but still successful, donation to the Wishing Well and wish for Simoleons, instead of giving you cash, it may advise you to blackmail Sims for money. When she tried it, she got about 1700 if I recall. I believe it was during her "Aliens Stole My Parents" Scenario playthrough.

I have a sim wtih the money challenge, so he only has a tent now and a bush for his private needs.
Then I found out we can break in an empty home. He basically can live there now and use the computer to write stories to earn some money. This became op quickly.
You can also use this with the Spy bug thingy!! 😂😂🎉

I heard if you confront them about secrets and don't do anything else they might just give you money to keep it quiet. You also get a chance to use blackmail using the wishing well.
I do have one question though, lets say you snoop on Eliza Pancakes with your main sim, if you play as another sim in or out of the same household and snoop on Eliza again is it the same secret or a different secret. I'm curious if they are assigned like random preferences in the save or if they get randomly assigned each time you snoop. Also, is there a max amount of secrets per sim? I've seen other gameplay with 2 so far. I think there could be 3 based on the size of the panel in the profile

Now I want to play as an evil klepto sim and break into all the houses. I bet this ties in quiet well with the get famous pack so I could become a famous crimelord? I wonder if you can break into celebrity homes just as easily?
It may be worth buying this pack just to have a sims do all this😀.

How often can a sim break in? I've tried again and the option was greyed out this time.
I found out I could still snoop for secrets about my sims husband even tho he lives with her. Blackmailed him and I still got paid 😂 poor hubby
I don't have this pack; I don't usually buy Sims DLCs unless they're on sale, and I'm not really super interested in the whole landlord gameplay thing, and if I want tenant gameplay I have City Living and Eco Lifestyle. But if I do decide to pick up this pack when it goes on sale, I could see some of my Sims being absolute nosey parkers.
Same, I will probably wind up buying it once it goes on full sale like all the other packs, but I'm in no hurry lol.

@@Robert_Burnell-Jones By snooping - I don't have strangerville, so I don't know if there is a big difference. It seems you have to be friends with her though; I watched a Dr Gluon video, where he only got 100, but he did have very low friendship bar - I made sure to become close with her first. So that may be a factor as well. :)
