The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

I was just over 4 years into my dispatching career when I took that call. It was around 11:30am, and I was just getting ready to take my lunch break when the phone rang. I was primary call taker that day, so my break would have to wait. What I had recorded into our CAD(computer aided dispatch) system was surreal. I couldnt tell if this was a legitimate call or not. I had never spoke to her before, so I did not know at all who she was. But, as we are trained, we take calls serious enough about the subject matter to get help dispatched, then follow up with scripted questions. I was being coached as my supervisor, the patrol supervisor and other staff members surrounded me listening, directing cars and making calls to other personnel. It was hectic, and I still wasnt sure of what kind of call I was taking. I read the transcript and, now, as a retired dispatcher, I can see where the general population would say "they had no clue what to say" or "Ok is not a word to use in this situation". You have to keep in mind that in the back ground, I had several people talking to me, telling me to ask this question, or that question. It was not just me alone in the com center during that call. My daughter was just 3 years old at that time, so once I realized that this was in fact real, she came to mind, and my heart broke. I attended the wakes, and stood outside at the funeral, respecting the wishes of the family only service. I paid my silent respect to the children. I dont care who was to blame, all I cared about were those 3 little angels and that they were no longer a presence in the family. The next 2 and a half years was hell for me. Getting briefed to testify, then only to have it cancelled. My emotional state was wearing down. I just wanted to be done with this. I was reminded every day of what happened. Finally, the day came where I was up on the stand. I was asked a few questions confirming who I was, what we were listening to and if I took that call. She sat across from me with her head down. She couldnt look at me. I wanted to make eye contact with her just so I could "get it off my chest" but say it thru my stare. In the end, justice prevailed. It doesnt matter what I would've wanted the outcome to be. It doesnt matter anymore. It will always be in my heart, and I will wear this to my grave. Thank you for reviewing this

I blame the father also. He was thinking of one thing and one thing only, what he wanted!! He knew she was sick but did nothing to protect the children.

When innocent children have to pay the consequences to adult problems. Stories like Marilyn’s, makes me so mad! 😤

That man who took that little boy's life out of carelessness should have gone to jail for many, many, years!

It is tragic that those poor children were killed by their mother, but the father should be implicated as well for neglect. What a horrible man!

My daughter suffered from postpartum depression after the birth of her first child. It was very real and very frightening. We had her and her husband and my granddaughter move in with us for about a year so we could be there for her and help take care of her and the baby. She made it, and is a tremendous mother to 3 children now.

So in a nut shell, she’s using depression as an excuse for killing her kids because she’s mad at the husband for cheating on her.

hmm docs wife has post partum depression and he does what about it? I give her no slack on what she did, but I don't give him any either. Sad thing is the neighbor was the only one paying attention and was helpless in helping. Poor babies

She blamed the husband for their deaths. Reminds me of an abuser who hits you then says, "Look what you made me do!"

I loved the tomb with the happy dog statue. I’d like to think that the model was a beloved family pet and that they wished to immortalize him/her and keep close to them forever.

I love little Adam's stone, it's so unique with Adam's stick figure drawing. RIP to the Lemak children, I'm sure when God saw your beautiful little faces, he hugged you and had a loving place for you to be happy and know that you are loved.

One person's description of a deep depression: I had a feeling I was falling down a pit into hell, my stomach always in knots, always nauseous, couldn't think rationally, and didn't know how to ask for help.

Many women have suffered with post partum depression and have not killed their children. What she did was horrific and incomprehensible. To even begin to give any of the blame to her husband or to post partum is wrong. It is heart breaking to think of these precious babies used in such a way to bring about revenge.
