One thing he did not mention to do; after I skip the bait, I always fix my backflash before reeling. :)
Also a great tip! Haha. Thank you for trusting your bite to us!
This puts a lot of faith into my bank fishing.
fishing uphill to keep the fish around is a concept I never even though of before. smart smart smart! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Chris, excellent tips on the Magdraft.
EXCELLENT video! Thanks.
Megabass all day> Baits work really well in Tennessee lakes that is for sure! I'll have to get me a couple of these. Awesome video.
Going to stock my boat up with these 🐟 I can't wait
Awesome video.
Nice casting! 👍
I live in Brownsville Tx & love skipping a 5in pink MD under over hanging palm trees at edge
The magdraft swimbait is amazing at skipping under docks. I love it!
Thank you for trusting your bite to us!
@@MegabassAmerica I caught my Pb on the 8 inch, it is my profile picture.
Saludos from MEXICO
Shout out to all the fisherman who fish shallow muddy water lakes who are envious of being able to throw big swim baits lol.
Top water wake gill/rat, anything on a beast hook, or a bullshad burned high in the column all work
As a shallow water fisherman, I have no idea what you are talking about.
What’s your setup for big swimbaits
What rod are you using? Brand, length, and lure weight specifications, please, and what gear ratio reel do you use?
The OrochiXX F7-72XX Perfect Pitch with 20lb Fluorocarbon line is a great option to skip our 6in Magdraft and Magdraft Freestyle under and around docks!
The Mag (Magnet) falls out of the draft a lot. So just call it the draft.
Hey Megabass would a Carbon Head Wild bunch be a good Magdraft/frog rod. I was looking at it and it seems like it’s a little more beefed up perfect pitch
I’m not from MB, but I own the wild bunch. It was made for frogging , I like it as a flippin punching rod I’m short and don’t like longer rods. Great rod though
@@juststatinfactssv4989 how does it handle a frog though. I have a super destroyer that I think the two together could throw a little pony frog and the Wild bunch could handle something bigger
which orochi is he using?
XX Perfect Pitch. An excellent 6" Magdraft rod
Is that a curado 200?
One hundred percent
0%... it's a 201 😆
That bait is a striper killa
Have you used this in the salt for Stripers?
@@thelifeofasurfcaster9417 not the salt but rivers n lakes is my go to when all else fails it crushes, i just stick wit lc saltwater pointer in cherry berry in the bay area. Its crushes as well
I just bought one and the first thing I did bend that hook back and it broke lol.
We apologize for this. Please reach out to the link below to complete a product feedback inquiry so we can review. Thank you for trusting your bite to us! megabassusa.com/f-a-q-s/
Good luck bending that hook like that. He makes it look like the hook is made of butter.
Is that the warhammer being used?
no
The rod featured in this video is the OrochiXX Perfect Pitch F7-72XX
I keep back lashing when skip
Looking like lake nacodoches.
Megabass must be so happy you ripped their signature swimbait off. Money over integrity I guess.
100% NOT straightening the hook on a $15 bait. Why isn’t it made better so the magnet doesn’t lose its grip?
The Mag Hold system in the Magraft series of baits is designed to keep the hook in the upright position when swimming in open water or very light cover situations. When fishing in heavier cover or skipping around docks, we recommend inserting the hook into the slot for better holding.
