The Partridge Family features lead vocals by David Cassidy and Background vocals by Shirley Jones. Everyone else on the show was lip syncing to the vocals created by The Wrecking Crew: Tom & John Bahler, Ron Hicklin and Jackie Ward. This song was never featured on the show so I had to create the video using footage from other performances.

Love this song! This was a Partridge Family song and they decided not to go with it because it was a little too heavy for the Partridge Family they thought . . . David Cassidy was not happy about that because he really liked the song, . . . must have been so frustrating for David Cassidy not to have any control over what he could sing. Great job with the editing on this video by the way.

Another terrific remix with a very rare song that was never used during the series of the show. Very stupid idea there is actually two versions of this David does his version and then there's the Partridge familised version. Fantastic, this really should have been a single. WMS, I can Hear your Heartbeat, and Lay it on the Line are my top 3. As you can tell I really liked the music from first 2 Albums with David's voice sped up. The background vocal arrangements on those were also the best with them singing along with David's vocals rather Than repeating end of line lyrics.

The DC version was released on his album "Rock Me Baby" but the Partridge Family version was never released. I found it on CZcams and remixed it.
