In case any mod makers are watching this, how about adding a flag block with minimal or absent collision? It'd help the players note down how far items are launched without interfering with the game

(original post, deleted it and added here) - Rock node trebuchets, you have to mine a piece off, but the part that falls should be a full rock cube and you load that one

Scrap Mans bearings kept flopping in the second round, making him slow down and turn. Combine that with the wall and you have a messed up shot

Multiplayer Monday idea: Farmbot mech battles. You each build a mech capable of battling farmbots, but you make it out of a non durable material. Or you just battle each other with the mechs.

The game that involves throwing logs. It is call Caber Tossing. The caber is usually made from a larch tree and it can be between 16-20 feet (4.9-6.1 m) tall and weighs between 90-150 pounds (6.4-10.7 st; 41-68 kg).[1][2] The term "caber" derives from the Gaelic word cabar, which refers to a wooden beam.[1]
The person tossing the caber is called a "tosser" or a "thrower"
The whole idea of a caber toss is to throw a caber into the air and have it land flat on the other end standing straight up into the air. All without it falling to one side or the other. Most importantly not fall back towards the thrower. Ideally when the caber falls it falls at the 12 o'clock position away from the thrower. Distance doesn't matter so much.
Suggestions: do the same thing but with the characters (player launcher)

Multiplayer Monday idea: build hover crafts that are made of cardboard and have an explosive. 1 of you guys at a time are going to be in the hover craft while the other 2 are going to be in turrets trying to shoot down the hover craft. The hover craft will try to destroy the turrets. The turrets will be made of cardboard and will have two explosives each.

THE Manliest Sport in existence, barring man vs beast combat without armor to make it fair. Since I'm not keen on killing for the fun of it, tossing trees is by default the manliest reasonable action one can take for enjoyment.
Lol how did I already pronounce it right 1 without being Scottish and 2 without seeing the bottom lol
11:33 Kan is a genius. If the vehicle suddenly stops it means the velocity gets transferred to the log which just wants to follow the inertia law. He didn't tumble around meaning it's a better launch.

Highlight of my week. Every week.
Scrapman, Kan and Moonbo chopping some trees . chopping some trees Scrapman, Kan and Moonbo.
I wanna see something that hasn't been done well, before. I want to see transforming animal vehicles that can become body parts, and are loosely connected in a way that enables 5 person controls. I have a theory about using partial blocks like those bolts to secure the arms to the torso by making a cavity that's one block larger than the knob it's built for, then filling the inside surface with bolts to gapfill with maybe some wiggle room. Depends on if the bolts are less than a half block or if there is an alternative that is less than half. I think if the socket is designed so that it holds fast without compression, then two vehicles could be combined securely.
But I'd have to buy the game to try. I might buy the game to try. I've been watching for a long time and it's still entertaining.

@@nikkiofthevalley I ran out of inspiration, being a noob who needs to learn better interlocks, but I successfully made 2 feet made of dogs (German Shepherds) that had tails that *did* interlock into hip sockets. Lag was low for balancing one medium build on 2 smaller ones, but I need to develop a walker to get to the next level. Also, my transformer building could use some work, but that's something I just need to spend some time in creative for.
Basically, it seemed to be working, but I started playing Project Zomboid for the last few months and haven't given Scrap Mechanic enough love. I need to commit to a torso design, and I just redesigned the feet in my head because you reminded me of this project I started.
Well now you've opened the other door. I think I saw someone else suggest this, but Siege Weapons for the rocks. Toss the smallest bit that's right before it becomes a refineable log, the next size up and then finally a large unbreakable bit (the stone node that requires a drill or explosives). Same thing, furthest wins. Limit of 4 thrusters, no glitches, and only 2 lvl 4 engines (combined total of 2 of either gas or electric [1 gas and 1 electric or 2 of either]). Either that OR build small structures out of explosive canisters and launch the rocks at each others canisters like a game of "chicken", aka you take turns instead of an all out brawl. If you get taken out in the first round then you get one shot of retaliation.
After that. . . . maybe a kind of carnival boardwalk game. Build a water gun turret, water gun or vacuum pump (water gun shoots at a faster rate but vacuum pumps shoot at with a faster exit velocity), and then spray haybots that are chasing after woks. You get to decide how many haybots and how many woks you want to work with. Longest time to defend or most woks still alive after 3 minutes gets a point. Best of 3?

you should do a mm where its a eternal race around a circular track but you can shoot at each other and if you fall behind your out. no repairing, last man standing.

Random suggestion: you should play Cross out (the only game with so few players that you can fight the same people you did last game) anyways it's a really fun sandbox vehicle creater.
The sport you're looking for is the Caber toss. Giant, muscular, scottish people take the bottom half of a tree, and yet it with the intent of making it go as far as you can while also making it turn over once

Multiplayer Monday suggestion: a race with extreme terrain navigation, but there is no timer meaning you can start the race before your opponents. You may also edit you vehicle at any time during the race.

suggestion:
how high can you throw a tree
there should be a wall on how hign a tree can ho and someone has to mark the tree's highest point (dunno how you can mark the point,find a way to mark)
rules:
you get 4 attempts or (or 3 if you think 4 is too may attempts)
max poston limit: inf (or "infinite" if you dont know what inf stands for)
max thruster limit: 6 (no more than 6 but you can use less than 6 if you want)
suggestion 2:
build stairs upwards somewhere and see how high you can launch a tree
get 3 tries to launch the tree the highest and furthest on a 35 degree angle (35 degrees is because if it was a 45 then the log would just slide)
max piston limit:6
max thruster limit:2

Little info to help with catapult things whatever they are called. The optimal launching angle is 45 degrees. This is the angle in which it won't fall straight down too much and it won't hit the ground and count as an attempt too early.
