- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are building bridge laying vehicles! We have a course with 3 large gaps to cross, and we have to cross them using a single bridge. That means we have to have a vehicle capable of carrying and placing the bridge over each gap to reach the end of the course!

Might be interesting to see a version where the vehicle bridges itself over - an attached bridge, rather than detached, would present new and interesting building challenges.

it amazes me none of them thought to make a grabber with a piston and a bolt so the bridge literally couldn't fall off the end

@@polarispulsar i think they mean a slot on the bridge that a piece of the grabber slots into to prevent it from moving.
Kan always has the coolest builds, they are usually just too complicated. I think Kan is just a slower builder.
It makes me sad that no one picked up their bridge from the back and passed it forward. With sensors you could have made the bridging automated and even eliminated the bridge sliding issues.
Im happy you have captions on, lots of other CZcamsrs don't. It helps when i cant have volume on.

i have an idea where you get given a whole bunch of modules to build a course to get to somewhere.
like you might have a ramp that you have to stack on top of a block of cardboard, with another one in front of that to get up to a finishing platform, but you have to be able to shove a box up it to get to another place, before you are able to start working on that level.
i reckon that this will get really intents as you can absolutely limit the area where the building creations can go, or you could put them at really random sizes, like a ramp might not be big enough to get on top of a box, but an entirely different box might be able to have a slight slope to it so that it is short enough to reach. another thing is if there is a gap that nothing can be placed on, there will be a specific piece that can lock on to another one to give it more weight, so that another end can reach along to the other side

Multiplayer Monday Idea:
You need to create a car for another player. You could have some contraptions on the car to make the car hard to drive and make the other player not win. Add some restrictions (like maybe no glitches and make sure that it could somewhat be able to drive), and it might be a very interesting challenge to watch!

I think a drifting challenge is something different than MM’s you’ve done in the past, with turns being taken faster rather than shorter. Ultimate Chaos!
Spud powered boat race. No seats or engines allowed. I think the spudling gun would work well for this. Paddle boats, sailboats, long boats, just whatever boat types work is fine.

In trailmakers. Challenge each player to build 20 small gliders and give them random flight paths with control surface settings. Then every player will take a propped plane with a mini gun and try to destroy other peoples gliders falling from the sky. Winner will be the one with most destroyed gliders. "THAT MANY GLIDERS FLYING AROUND WILL BE A SIGHT TO BEHOLD"

You guys really need to utilise forklift steering more, especially for these types of challenges. Honestly its such a better option for manoeuvrability in most of challenges you do in mm. No need for a 3 +point turn😆, and its far better that 4 wheel steering

Well here's an idea. Minesweeper challenge.
Everyone has to build a vehicle capable of clearing up the minefield, made of small bombs. No spudguns allowed. Whoever reaches the longest distace before their creation gives up, wins.

Suggestion: battle bay themed boat battle
all boats have level 3 thrust
boost types:
boost: spudgun shoots a metal panel in front of the spudgun. this allows extra speed. must have 3 second cooldown
boat types:
shooter: max 5-6 weapons, can at most add 2-3 layers of extra cardboard armour, no boost
defender: max 2-3 weapons, allowed metal grid armour(this means choosing defender lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts.
enforcer: max 2-3 weapons, allowed 2-3 extra armour layers, can have 4-5 boosts,
speeder: half power level 5 thrusters, can have 1 extra armour layer, can have max 1-2 weapons, great distraction, can have 3 boosts
fixer: max 2-3 weapons, can have 1-2 extra armour layers, allowed to call timeout for all players so teammates can repair. lasts for 10 seconds
reaper: max 1-2 weapons, can have 2 boosts, can have 1-2 extra armour, can call 7 second timeout to let teammates repair
interceptor: can have 1 boost, at most 3 layers of extra armour, 4 weapons allowed,
guardian: can have 4 layers of extra armour, 2 weapons allowed, can have metal grid armour(this means choosing guardian lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts.

Idea: Tight-rope challenge. A vehicle driving on a fixed pipe, instead of on bridges you carry with you.

MULTIPLAYER MONDAY IDEA: You should make a video where you and all of your friends make a car mostly out of destructible material and then you could have some arena with obstacles and you spawn normal tape bots first and last one to survive wins. then you could do a bonus round with explosive ones
i have a brilliant idea you should race furniture but in the style of your old races using barrels to mark the course

Should totally do a 2v2 multiplayer monday where you and your team mate have to build different bridge vehicles that the vehicle itself is the bridge and you have to drive over your friend to get to the other side and become the bridge for them.
