The thing is it’s all so confusing. One min Sancho’s attitude and personality is questioned, the next how he played. People are changing their minds constantly on what to moan about on him. The consensus, from if you look at factual information, is no manager ever had anything bad to say about him other than Ten Hag. Dortmund the fans, coaches, players all loved him in his first spell. Proven by the fact they have bought him back. Rangnick said he was a good kid and did what he has asked from him. Since he left he’s had support from his own United team mates on social media, as well as stars around the world like Vinicius Jr, Mbappe and others. He’s playing well for Dortmund, they have reached a CL final. He is happy. Why not just leave the lad in peace. Sometimes transfers don’t work out. But you can’t just make it out like the situation at United was all his fault. An unpopular player would never have the mass support or network he has

At dortmond there's clear patterns that keep sancho high up the pitch and in more often than not leaves him in situations where he's 1 on 1 with the defender.. Arsenal do exactly the same with saka and martinelli. At United when your winger you get the ball and your just expected to run with it there's rarely any runners if you and barring rasmus don't expect anyone to hit once you beat the man.

Simon Jordan's comments on Sancho are DEAD SPOT ON! Like exactly what I was going to say, haha. It's spooky.
Sancho was NOT professional at Utd with ETH. He was given TONS and TONS of time to prove himself and show his "quality." ETH even went out of his way (did not have to do this) and sent Sancho to a spa to get his head back on right, his body back in shape and get ready for the tough games Utd has to play week in and week out in the EPL. He gave him all sorts of starting chances and sub chances. And after two years, what did Sancho do?!?!?! NOTHING is the correct answer. Then goes out of his way to disrespect the coach publicly! And lets not kid ourselves and act like this is the first time Sancho has had disciplinary issues on a team. Because it's been a problem for him his entire career. AND on top of all of that, he has teammates questioning his attitude and commitment to the team?!?! That's a MAJOR red flag of a bad seed, bad attitude player. I mean, this is about as cut and dry as it gets in sports. There is NO speculation about what was really going on behind closed doors. ETH needs Sancho to try hard, he needs him to put in the work effort and he needs him to be a good player. Preferably a great player for Utd. They are desperate for good players. And yet after all of these chances and even teammates criticizing him, there are still looney tunes people out there in the world that think Sancho has somehow "proven" ETH wrong, hahahahahaha. What an absolute joke. Clueless is the word that comes to mind when people like that open their mouth's.
Simon Jordan also touched on a few VERY important things about Sancho.
First, that he likes being a big fish in a small pond, so that he feels like a big man. Loved, adored and "looks" like he's really good. Dortmund, who no offense to them, are a small to medium team in a league that does not have a level of play across the board that is anywhere NEAR EPL levels!
Second, he failed in the EPL, NOT because of ETH. But because of two important reasons. The complete incompetency of the Glazers and the "team" they have built at Utd (a flaming pile of dog sh*t is better). Making life very difficult for Sancho to adapt. And the second, but more important reason is... he's just not good enough. Sancho has been overhyped most of his career and isn't really a great player. He's not very fast, isn't that great of a dribbler. Can't shoot that great. And is weak and lacks body strength and balance that is required to beat players in the EPL. He proved that game after game after game. For two straight years. He's just not fast enough, not strong enough and not good enough to beat EPL players. That's just a fact. The Bundesliga and European football (including the CL) are leagues that favor skill, speed and finesse, not strength, grit, determination, and toughness.
And just because a player is on a team, that made it to the CL Final does NOT MEAN that player themselves is important or integral. That's what idiots think and say. Trying to relate two things together that have NO connection is called Apophenia. Like seeing an Animal in the clouds. Or someone gambling keeps winning, so they think they "know" what cards coming next, or that the roulette wheel will land on the numbers they keep picking. Fantasy Football people do it ALL the time. Try to relate stats to winning or other stats, when in fact, it's just random lucky and has no connection what so ever. That is exactly what is happening here with Sancho. He just happens to be on a team, that just happened to luckily get into the CL Final. He has NOTHING to do with it and has not vindicated himself. ETH was 100% right to ask for him to go out on loan. He is smart. He knows he's a good player. And if he can get him out on loan at a team he DOES feel comfortable on, he'll start playing well enough again, to raise his interest and get teams interested in signing him again. Because if he stayed at Utd, they would have lost a TON of money on his transfer fee they paid. Now, all sorts of stupid teams are going to be lining up to pay a bunch of money for him, thinking he's the second coming of Ronaldo or something, haha. It's a win win for Sancho and Utd. I'm glad he's gone and doing Ok.

Sancho may not have done everything right (havent been following it completely from Germany, since it was basically a "he said, she said" thing on the media), but when the team AND the manager needs him, he definitely can make a difference on the pitch, so as in the second half of the Season in Germany. There's zero chance Klopp or Pep would've put up with Sancho. The days of players running the dressing room discipline are well gone. There's a reason despite Sancho being 1 of the highest rated young players in Europe Liverpool & Citeh weren't interested, even though stylistically he would suit city perfectly. Citys youth coaches were critical of his behaviour, Dortmund's officials were as well. Same with England. This is very much a Sancho problem, not ten Hag.
Sancho couldn't beat lower league fullbacks at Utd, so doing some successful dribbles against a half fit Mendes don't impress me much. Where are his goals & assists? No end product. Over 2 legs in the UCL semi he created 1 chance. That's what he's getting praised for 🤷🏻‍♂️
He doesn't deserve to play for Man Utd, we'll be back, whereas the 5th placed team in the Bundesliga is about his level.
