In this lab we learn how to use the function generator and the digital oscilloscope. Much of the lab is spent playing with the equipment to learn what capabilities are available, and how to use them.

I took the output of the function generator indirectly using a breadboard, jumper wires and oscilloscope probes, it showed an 'almost' sinusoidal waveform but absurd readings (400 mV pk-pk instead of 5 V pk-pk). Why did that happen ?

my signal/ function generator provide constant output voltage for all frequency range when analyzed through oscilloscope, its fine, but when i connect a load across signal generator its output voltage drop significantly why?

well is this sinus signal is real AC signal? I will use it at rectifier circuit. Can I see negative voltage +- 5 Volt

The signals look pretty. But not much use if I don't know how to use it on a pcb.
