Even though those engravings do look really good, you still have something going on. The whitespace setting is just the speed at which the laser moves when it's not cutting/engraving. You can greatly speed this up without affecting the quality of your piece. My guess is you sped up the whitespace move so much that the laser can't burn the piece. It did fix your problem but in reality, the laser should reduce power or turn completely off during whitespace moves. Is this laser PWM controlled and is it set up correctly?
I have Planet CNC program with it's board to control my CNC machine, how can I setup my Lightburn to be able to generate G-Codes into my PlanetCNC program ? Please notice, I don't have any option in terms of counting the laser or the controller via USB Thanks in advance.
