10 Tips and Tricks for New Laser owners that use LightBurn

  • In this video I will share 10 tips and tricks on using LightBurn and you laser as a new laser owner. I use allot of these tips on every project and they really help me speed up my process. You will notice I cover some of the information twice because its that important. If you have not used LightBurn or your Rueda Controller much this is the video for you!     I want to thank you . Ive been oulling my hair out trying to learn this stuff . Watching lits of videos and even the instructions baffles me . Ive always had a bad learning curve and have had a great time in life gettingvit all half right . . I got nowhere with sll 8f them . You just clearly taught me this stuff to get me started . Half way though i already had text and photos in the work area and editing thank you so much . Now if I could just get the program to talk to my laser
    I need a newer computer.

    I'm new to laser cutting and Lightburn. My Mira9 is on order and won't be here for awhile, but I'm trying to learn and familiarize myself with the software. I think this was a great video!     Awesome , never knew how to change power on the fly using the controller , I would always change it in Lightburn and resend the file , great tips , thank you for all your hard work making these videos to benefits others 👍

    Hi i am new to this, and at the age of 62, I give it a go I have a ortur laser master 2 , it’s only a small laser, and lightburn software, I am dyslexia, and I have looked on lots of videos of lightburn, ,which is hard to follow, but know I have found your videos on lightburn , it’s starting to make sense, a big thankyou to you for your time and skill ,Neil

    Thanks for the tip about the notes, that one I didn't know.
    A counter opinion about making adjustments at the controller.
    I try not to make any adjustments at the controller unless I have to because the membrane switches on the controller have a very finite lifespan. Once one of the membranes breaks, that button will stop working and they cannot be repaired only replaced. Since these membrane switches mount directly to the main PC board in the controller, if any moisture gets through a cracked membrane your controller is not long for the world. Your computer mouse is much easier and cheaper to replace.
