My property taxes get raised every year. But truly, how much do you think that maralogo would sell for on the open market? Wouldn't be 18 million that's for sure. The resort was built in the 20's for 7 million dollars, (100 million in today's market) Ms post ( of the post/ general mill company) wanted to leave it to the government so president's and dignitaries could use it as a winter white house. ( government did want to buy it and keep it running) in 1985 Trump bought it for 5 million, he also purchased the antiques in the estate. This estate is also a historical site. I wonder how much real-estate and building you could purchase in NY for that kinda change. ( source..npr, September 2022)
