Kon, Scania buses and trucks has this transmission back in 2015. From what I have seen, the AMT gearbox really ease the driver's life as it really helps during heavy traffic condition and normal driving condition, which alleviates much of the stress of engaging the clutch back in the days in Manual Transmission. I have spoken to some of the bus driver's using Scania, and some of them even said, the AMT really helps a lot. Do note that in the Isuzu, there's an ECO button which engages the gear in Eco mode to allow the gearbox to upshift faster just to save some of the diesel for better fuel economy. :)
This AMT transmission are actually a manual gear box which added to be come AMT transmission gear..
If anyone got a chance to drive a lorries daily,, u world know how tired would be during daily workload ..
But Isuzu finally came out a brilliant products to reduce the drivers a day long burden works to insure the driver won't feel such tired as before ..

In japan and other region, automatic trans are available far back before 2000 but not many were build since demands are low..
in Malaysia mindset, want high technology and full specs but when see price all complaint until Bangkok. haha
Recond lorry also have amt since 2015 malaysia a bit late all recond lorry also have more creature like eco mode cleaning your own exhaust

I believe heavy duty vehicles should equip with automatic transmission because I have been with lots of drivers when I trained them. Lots of them still doesn't understand when they are supposed to change gears and don't even bother about the engine rpm thus there is no economical shifting. Furthermore they even cause excessive wear and tear due to less knowledge about the gearbox. But the main problem is it's still alarmingly expensive over here lol....Nice video kon, be safe

9L ? 1 ton truck small very small. Engine 9L size for Medium/ Heavy Duty truck. For 1 ton truck most engine cc range about 3-5L only.

AMT isuzu elf trucks only cargo and box body only not for arm roll dan tipper , for heavy load still use manual
I'm surprised they even used AMT at all, I hope the drivers are well-trained on the proper way to use these transmissions.
I had a Smart Forfour 1.5 with a 6 speed AMT. Very reliable engine but horrendous transmission. Needed replacement at 110k km. The repair was worth more than the car so I just scrapped the car... Was a cute and quirky car though.

yes those we called, Recond/Rebuild, But most of time, hardly to get parts replacement and far more expensive to maintain. Due to daily use and milage every high.

Lmao inb4 those Isuzu lovers come in and accuse you of being a Hino salesman. I simply wrote the same comment about the slow gear changes on my Isuzu bus and 2 idiots came and said I'm a Hino salesman when i never driven a Hino bus before. I deleted the comment as i was too lazy with these "isuzu salesmen"
@@jjd8865 Bruh exactly, my transmission has a new problem where the sixth gear is completely missing and now I have to pay someone to fix it. Also top speed tn is 120kmh and that's just too slow 🐌😒Any ways, I hope u have a great day 😀
