Working 6 days graveyard never getting sleep, blah, blah… He said wow, now I understand why it’s so important for the man to be around, that’s a lot for a woman to do alone and then he hugged me. He’s only 17 years old and understands the importance of a 2 parent dynamic because he watch me be fkn superwoman his whole life. So don’t ever dare think its not possible to desire a marriage because you didn’t see one growing up because you just discredited me and other mothers like me producing REAL black men! As someone whom is, and was abandoned by my biological mom, loss my biological father, and most recently heartbreakingly lost my beloved adopted mom recently. 💔😥💔 Who was the mother, I never had, I can somewhat relate to Jamie’s abandonment. It's easy to laugh and jest about the gossip as usual bestie but as a child whose biological father rejected her due to forbidden love issues, this hits close to home.
The pain and self doubt never really goes away, you just learn to live with it. Grateful to my adoptive dad (who I know as my real dad) for not raising me different from my siblings. Didn't even know he wasn't my bio dad until my mum told me, when I casually ran into my bio dad.
I hope Jamie heals from his trauma and gets the help he needs because he's truly one of the most gifted entertainers I've ever known.

GOH ...nobody I know had a perfect childhood. I was briefly in fostercare. Most of the people I know had dysfunctional family units. Some parents just don't know how to parent, then there are the drugs, alcohol, other relationships etc. we got pushed to the back. But thanks be to God I made it, never drugs, prison, been married. Life is good. God is good!

I agree that Jamie has anxiety and fears like the best of us when it comes to nuptial commitments. But most men who marry in their later years are selfish and wanting someone to spend the remaining years with so they won't die alone. It's like a father who abandoned his kids and wants to build a relationship with them when he's old, sick, or dying. They have lived the best years of their lives rumbling through the streets and sheets with women possibly breaking hearts and wasting others time. But old age brings on reality that they don't want to die alone.
