I've lived in the Mojave desert my whole life, and I've never heard a band's sound encompass the mystery, loneliness, and beauty of a dark desert night like Lord Huron does for me. My favorite band, ever.
For me they take me to the forest I've been going hiking in all my life. That feeling when the forest goes quiet... And when I am snorkelling in a clear deep lake and look down but can't see the bottom. Light is just eventually consumed by the void.
You both nailed it. You put words to something that’s difficult to name, which is also what their music does for me.
I spent five years in the Mohave desert...i learned to talk to the Joshua Trees while i was there.

To all people who love lord Huron, we can admit that we are proud to have found the music of such a great band. Their songs expresses how uniquely we feel. Many people say, "what, never heard of'em" can't blame them, they hadn't been conjuring ghosts from a different dimension like us. Thank you Lord Huron.

@@SGSG0815 Covid, more than likely. I can’t imagine these guys have a massive budget to pay for the movie and all the safety equipment. My guess is that it’s been sidelined until covid passes over
Well good news, someone on Reddit posted a new article about the film and the actors in it, and apparently it is being screened currently. The two reasons it was delayed was obviously covid, but also they didn't want to go fully independent (I'm assuming for financial reasons) so they've been waiting for it to get picked up by someone. But if screening goes well, im gonna guess it'll be out around spring time, early summer.

They have such a Haunting Sound and that's what drew me to them, ever since I heard "Meet Me In The Woods" for the first time I've been kind of enchanted with their sound💙

This is why Lord Huron is the band that they are. Not only is their music amazing but they try things others don't. The whole Whispering Pines idea was pure genius! They make actual art just for the sake of it and are a pure joy to watch.

I dscovered Lord Huron a year ago at the start of the pandemic. This artist has gotten me through every nightmare of 2020 and I couldn't have been happier to find them when I did.

This is Great. That said, Chris Cornell Euphoria morning has done the same for me. "when I'm Down" "Disappearing One" and "Say Goodbye" are amasing and completely UNKNOWN songs. Hope this helps. Max. PS, I wrote a book before ALL of this, about this.

The occult nature of their lyrics mystify me. These guys are bearers of the light. They've seen the emerald beam of the human heart and their pain has been transmuted to wisdom by the black ray of the dark one. They share what they have learned in the void and people can see it! I keep circling back to this version every day. Hits different than the original. They're just an incredible band. Haunting. They just understand who they are as an artist and kill it every time.

Damn that simple little pentatonic scale before the final chorus at 3:43 really rounds out the feel of this arrangement. My favorite song off of Vide Noir.

I bought the whole Whispering Pines season. We're only 2 episodes in and I've already gotten my money's worth. They shake it all up so much that I'm not sure which version's of their songs I prefer.
This was a good band before they found their vibe, but they became an amazing band when they figured out the WEIRD TALES angle in Strange Trails and Vide Noir. I love this band so dang much, so excited for their next project.

I love this band so much. I found their EPs back in the day and I’ve been a fan ever since. I hate crowds but still I went to see them live ever chance I could . Every album concept just fucking slaps and resonates with me, no matter where I am in life.
