FEEL THE POWER OF THE LORDS CALIBRE
Scott after the incident...Megasaur.
Будь осторожен, дружище!🇺🇸🇩🇪🇷🇺🐼🦓🤝🏻
6:11 I would have opened the toilet before sitting down, lol.
My dad , who passed last year, wasn’t just a fan of the 1911, he absolutely loved them. He was a gunsmith for many years and We were talking when he was in hospice about guns and I asked him what’s his favorite pistol was and his reply was “Any of the 14 1911’s in my gun safe “. He continued “in my mind, it’s the only automatic pistol that I would have in a shtf situation. They’re tried and true “. I gave my step brothers one each and my son’s one each and kept the rest. They do make a statement when you snatch one out. I’ve grown to love them too. Much love to you Scott. And RIP Dad.
im a fan too of 1911,i have a copy of cardboard of the pistol
@@DaniheiBroski that’s cardboard 😭 Either way, that’s an incredible story and may your father rest in peace.
Rip man sorry about your dad
W dad RIP
RIP
Hahaha I’m sure most didn’t notice that you said heads was the S&W1911 and still grabbed the Zombified 1911 after getting heads on the coin toss 😂
I noticed. Made me gafaw.
methree
I was looking for this comment lmao
He flaked out there
You could see him start to laugh as he grabbed the green 1911 and walked off camera. He already knew which one was toast. That S&W was just too nice to destroy.
I love how Scott's intrusive thoughts always win out
Ha

Scott is the perfect marriage of savagery and something vaguely resembling science.
kinda like some bootleg bill nye almost lol
It's actually interesting to see at the damage and how weirdly "the path of least resistance works"
I mean... the charge inside that .45 ACP bullet was so powerful,it was literally easier for all the pressure to tear the barrel and the gun apart than push the bullet all the way down the barrel.
question now is how short of a barrel would you need to make that not teh case
For note: The actual patent for the 1911 shows that the weakest point along the barrel is the along the lower part of the barrel as it is not fully supported by the remaining mass of the slide. Unless you have lightning cuts or speed cuts on the slide that barrel will be fully supported along the left, right, and top but not the bottom making the look up inherently air tight and forcing any over pressure downwards: this pressure being forced downwards is the very reason the locking action works as it prevents the action from opening until it is safe but if you have to much... well you saw what happens.
I'm surprised how it failed, Normally the magazine baseplate blows off. I wonder if the Iver Johnson has a cast frame.
@nemesisnick66 250k psi is beyond the failure point of steel that thick you'd need a SIGNIFICANTLY thicker barrel to take it, you can take a 45acp 1911 barrel safely to top end of 45 super pressures but at 250k you are beyond what a short barrel will drop pressure wise.
That is not quite how it works. The pressure takes the path of least resistance only in the longer periods of time. When the pressure wave is practically instant, the first thing to break is the first thing the pressure wave hits. Shock force loads works differently than force over time.
On the other hand, If we ignore the bullet in the barrel and are observing in a smaller scale just the barrel, it will break from where it is the weakest. From where the crystal lattices have the weakest bonds together in the metal.
This man is for sure keeping the folding plastic table industry well paid
And bulk condiments
Not since the days of ECW has the table industry been in such good shape.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You and your wretched jump scares.
...gets me every damn time. 😂
Thanks so much for making these vids I know you work very hard on them and you still do this after a horrible injury that proves bravery
Curiosity suddenly hit me. Those cinder blocks did break pretty easily.
Makes me curious about seeing a test video about different types and qualities of cinder blocks and how good they would be at stopping different bullets.
Cinder blocks are inherently bad at stopping bullets.
I suspect the blast concussion had something to do with it.
@@gunengineering1338Cinder blocks these days are really cheaply made. Last ones I bought would shatter at the slightest impact. I dropped some just a couple feet on to soft ground and they fell to pieces like glass.
@@chucks4328 They haven't been sturdy in the last 35 years at least. I worked at a lumber yard, and you had to be pretty careful loading and unloading them.
@@DerrillGuilbert I have some that are built like tanks and heavy as heck that I use to saw wood on out back. I wonder how old those things are, or where they were made haha. Actually one of my grandpa's built a shop out of cinder blocks and I know that building was *solid*. Guess it's a thing of the past, but nothing is made quality these days.
Congrats on being the only one to survive the Kentucky Torture Test, give yourself a pat on the back
Dont read comments before watching video....problem solved
@@jorydunlap3335I like how people talk crap before watching a video all the way through. 🙄

The fact this is episode 10 is crazy in itself! So glad You're still with us buddy! Big fan from Bama! Roll Tide!
What should we test next?!? I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
Test the colt
Glock 21
sup
Still need a .950 JDJ
Test a foldable fn
I think after the 1911, it'd be appropriate to do this with it's replacement, Beretta M9/92! I'd be curious to see what would happen given it's open slide design, would probably be a pretty spectacular explosion!
And then with the sig that replaced the Beretta.
Could also go backwards through time as well, though would definitely want to use replicas for the older ones.
that's a good idea, seconded on the M9 test
Ask the SEALs 😂
Agreed!
As well as the P35, a.k.a. FN Browning Hi Power.
Scott, I LOVE your videos. They're informative, hilarious, and family-friendly (no obscene or profane language). Keep up the great work!
this guy is legendary always bringing us the best entertainment. happy holidays Scott
It would be interesting to see the difference between how a cast and forged frame goes boom.
My thoughts exactly!
Irrelevant as it's the metallurgy, heat treatment and followup QC in both types.
The new Iver Johnson company IMHO is a dog💩 quality firearms company.
Also why I ditched the TISAS pistol I bought earlier this year the barrel was so thin that a undersized inner diameter match barrel bushing slid right on it 🙄
That’s a great idea
Turkey make good pistol u wrong! Turkey number 1
Intro dad jokes checked out, camera quality is A1, Scott is highly entertaining as usual, a gun going boom, it’s Friday.. yeah this is already a certified classic
makes getting a 460 rowland conversion an even better idea.
I was told a story second hand about a guy who was very angry that a gun was stolen from his house. He said that he wanted to overload a 45 ACP severely and leave it as a bait gun for the next robber. His hope was that whoever stole it would suffer the fate that you just demonstrated.
I will never get tired of hearing Scott's laugh, he's like a big kid with a new toy.
Omg right. That laugh is too much. He's just out there having a good old time
6:53 that's called a Kentucky Handshake.
lol, that hammer back explosion is expected but usually still comes as a shock but never gets boring.
I remember when you first introduced T-Rex and I am so glad to see that he has lasted this long 😂 him and bob are my favorite supporting actors
I like it how he already made his mind up before flipping the coin to figure out what gun to use lol. love these videos
C'mon man, what kinda guy do you take him for!!!
Send it back and file a warranty claim. I REALLY want to hear their response.
I am so glad to see the grip you were worried about damaging survived 😁
with all of your throwing stuff in the video, it really helps us determine the ballistics in kentucky
I'm impressed that the trigger and hammer still worked. Kinda shows that it takes a lot more than normal wear and tear to make them fail.
I wanted to see him fire another cartridge from the last inch of barrel
Scott goes above and beyond to entertain us! Thank you!!
"It kind of looks like a giant buger"😂😂😂😂
Oh God Scott, I'm dying!
That's funny to you.... says a lot about you.
Hi Scott
I heard your comments about the cinder blocks. Two major factors in this regard. First, most of us like to purchase stuff cheap specially the vegetables etc to be used for targets may be the cinder blocks were bought with the same mind set. Second, after being exposed to such a bang cinder blocks can loose their integrity. Please never re-use them even they look fine.
In either case please be careful. Stay safe my brother. God bless.
You're talking safety to a guy that caught a bullet with his neck. I'm fairly certain that was enough for him to make sure he's safe 😂
8:52 - Ahhnold would be so proud of you for that "NYAAARGH" brother! Perfection. 🤗
You get me every time with that blowup and I even know it’s going to happen 😂 Spicy meatball ! Love it ! Every video is pure entertainment 💕 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to you and your family Scott.
Those fingers wiggling in the slo-mo was absolutely delightful.
This is honestly my favorite of the series you make
So let me get this straight, heads was the Smith and tails was the goober gun and it was heads and still you used the goober gun?
C H E A T E R ! ! !
He clearly said heads was the Iver Johnson, not sure what video you were watching.
"The Game Was Rigged From the Start"
I laughed out loud! I loved how he just moved on as if it didn't happen.😂
2:34@@poultrygeist8253
he absolutely cheated lol
You're the man Scott!! you make guns and humor go together like bullets and targets - a perfect shot every time! Thanks for keeping the 'bang' in comedy and the 'boom' in ballistics
Congrats for the 4 million subs Scott!💪🏻😎
The content keep getting better and interesting, hope to see something special for the next episode of gun exploding, hope it will not be any of the elephant guns😆
This video was very EXTRA! Loved it. 😂 Scott, I seen what you did there. I got my eye on you.
4 millions subs, WOW! Come along since the pine boards in the backyard days. Keep up the great work Scott!
Still watch all his vids but definitely preferred his older stuff. Pine board tests, full auto Friday, etc. the new stuff kinda of boring :/
Noticed that myself. Congrats Scott.
@@carsonhunt4642he now has another channel Kentucky ballistics breakdowns where he goes over the guns featured on this channel.
Makes me wonder when the 4mil special comes out, hopefully 700 nitro or something.
Imagine Scott actually using a chronograph for it's intended purpose...
The fact that this is episode 10 of this series specifically is epic in its own right
So informative! Now I know what to do if I ever decide I've got too many fingers.
"Kentucky Fried Ballistics"! Extra crispy! LOL And remind me to invest in whatever company builds your tables. Looks like a steady business for them there!
As a man who is missing a couple of digits, from a woodworking accident, not a firearm incident, I felt the zombies pain😂
Dang it Scott, I was waiting for the atomic explosion and it STILL got me! 😂
That explosion when you were pushing on the hammer, scared the hell out of me... LOL
I gotta say, I love the intro😂 have up hallways through😂😂
This was also a torture test for that table, surprised it could hold all the cinder blocks and lexan 😂
Don't Gardening!?
As someone who has hands, i can confirm this wouldn’t feel very good
As someone without hands I can confirm it doesn't
That's crazy yeah nah good thing you stayed behind our truck keep safe scott crazy results!
I would like to point out that this has been Scott’s best accuracy shooting in any of his videos 🤣
The vultures/scavengers circling at the sight of Scott even being present at the range 🤣
Man, I am so glad you saved the SW1911TA. I’ve wanted that gun for 18 years (over half my life)…
Noone would sacrifice the SW before the green booger.
They're not that expensive. Sell some other stuff and make it happen. I have a couple scandium ones and they rule.

Kentucky Ballistics: Yes😂
I'm convinced that if CZcams didnt exist Scott would still be out there throwing tables around
Scott is a gift from the internet.
Just subscribed, out of pure respect for the passionate way you handle that crane. LOL
That ultra spicy round leading to a catastrophic failure is a grim reminder of the worst possible thing that can happen, and has happened to Scott. I pray that this happens to no one else, ever.
Never a truer word spoken
Dude took a pipe bomb to the face
Happened to me before he started making videos like this, my Glock 23c blew up in my hands
Yes oh lord yes yes
@@redbruh-rn7hhso uh please elaborate further?
Kentucky ballistics said at 2:35 if it is head smith and if it is tails Johnson but when it was heads he changed his mind and chose the one for tails
I must have been lucky, when I was serving in the Army at Ft. Carson I purchased a Thompson 1911 from a private owner who also did his own reloads, for the first 100 round had no problems no misfires so I bought another 100 rounds from him, after the first mag no problems, the first shot of the second mag boom, it appeared that the first round some how set off the rest of the rounds in the magazine, when I open my eyes I couldn't believe them my hand was still there, had a couple of minor cuts and it was numb for a while, what really surprised me was the gun, it had the stock walnut grips, they were obliterated, the mag was blown out of the gun, after I went to the dispensary and got patch up I took the rest of the ammo and the gun back the guy clean up re-blued and put some Pachmayer grips on it, wasn't sure I should trust his reloads I bought some Remington FMJs and tried it out, had no problems, that's why I will alway be a fan of the 1911
Always great content Scott!
Love your content it alongside admins, Brandon’s, & Ian’s got me into firearms
Brother, might consider the channel “Demolition Ranch”. Liking the creators you do, you may very well enjoy the Demolition Ranch channel. Cheers!
Thank you so much! I have a 1911 myself and this is good information to have!!! Love your channel keep it up!
Not for nothing brother you gots to be careful. I love what you do and what this channel stands for. Your a legend.
This series is awesome! I've always wanted to see what it would take to make a 4 bore fail.
6:36 🤷♂, I like how you took advantage of your life experience to improve, keep it up, see how a weapon can explode and how dangerous it is, I think that's what I like to see most in your videos, keep going and take good care of yourself Master Chief
Scott is one of the best people I think I know. I am 14 years old And he has inspired me so much that I won The Colorado 4H state shooting championship. He is my insperation❤
That’s really super. God bless ya
God bless you to
Them Buzzards be waiting Scott it's amazing they didn't feed off you when the 50 blew up and I'm so thankful that your still here if you don't upload anything from now till Thanksgiving hope you and your family have a wonderful Turkey Day and that we are all Thankful your still here to entertain us.
"Nothing has survived yet except me!" I love you man!
I laugh every single time at the explosion "jumpscare" it just never gets old... I know it's gonna happen and I anticipate it like a sneeze lol
Scott you are awesome man your contents incredible congratulations on the 4mill subs if there’s anyone who deserves it it’s you! Keep up the great work you do you always make my day man we the kenfolk love ya!
That green .45 looks like one of those “zombie hunting” gas station knives lol all that gun needs is a random glass breaker on the back and a pocket clip and it’s a true gem
6:06 I already did PULL THE STRING
You should do a “how many videos can a table survive” challenge lol
we knew Scott was gonna blow up the booger 1911 no matter what the quarter landed on 😂😂😂😂😂
Crazy video! I wouldn't want to lose those digits! Might not want to hear this KB but a catastrophic malfunction with the 4 bore would be exponentially gnarly
Another bed time routine video thank you Scott. Don't stop what your doing we all love you 🏴
I was always taught by SAMMI that; 21,000 to 23,000 psi or cup was the acceptable amount of pressure for the Colt .45. automatic pistol in it's as issued configuration.
originals yes
I feel like gun manufacturers should do these tests. We need people like Scott to do their work for them. Also one of the best intros ever
Hi Scott that was another interesting video. So if memory serves me correctly, I don't recall seeing you put a wheel gun to the test, how about a 357 magnum next?
Didn’t he used to be a cop or somethin? I just imagine him going “oh no, I done missed one” as a pedestrian falls flat on the pavement lmaoo 1:39
Scott, you're a maniac. More than just content, but a real show.
Man, how do you have so much fun??? It's so awesome!!!
I love your videos I wish I had a place to do what you do.
I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SEE you setup a running engine and see what it takes to shoot through the block.
If I had the access you do I would totally do that starting with a lawnmower engine and work up to at least a six cylinder.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Scott to you your Dad and family.🎄
The coinflip had me dying🤣
My son and I had a detonation on our range this past weekend with My MAS 1936. The primer cap blew completely out, the magwell blew out, the bolt stayed in place but the firing pin pushed through the buffer spring. My son is fine. He was in full kit. We think it was a spicy round .
I noticed the "PLEASE STAND BY" Doom Guy was holding the sawed-off 700 from your latest video more recent than this one! :)
At least there's still some parts that can be salvaged from the frame for a rebuild.
Keep going your the greatest gun CZcamsr ever keep it up scott
Man.. I know this could get expensive fast, but I'd really love to see this experiment done on 1911's of different quality. 'cause the zombie killer didn't really look like something most people would/should have spent money on.
9:11 soak the blocks in water a few hours then let ‘em dry, we usually spray them with a hose but should help them cure better
I laughed hard after the coin flip! 😂 that is that... good choice. 👍
The Green 1911 looking slick
Heads, it loses. Tails, the S&W wins.
This video is to remind you that each weapon has its own caliber and it is dangerous to try to change that. Always safe, while still being funny. Thanks Scott for the video.🤜🏻🤛🏻👏🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
He didn't change the caliber. He used an excessive powder charge.
@@sapago4166 yes I know, thanks

Can't believe he scored a cameo spot from Geoff Peterson there at the end 🤣🤣
of all of the gun-tubers i have come across on youtube, you are by far my favorite, you are funny, informative and above all, you don't tend to get political, which i appreciate, carry on the good work sir, also if you would do some reviews on British Guns I would find that fascinating
