Very helpful video, thanks you. My daughter had one of these, overnight the laptop stopped charging. With help of your video I tested the power pack, internal power jack, plus motherboard. The motherboard was receiving power into it but was dead elsewhere. I found one HDD mount screw rattling around in the laptop when I opened it, also the bottom right. Another one just fell out when I removed the mount.
I can only assume that the screw rattling around the laptop broke the motherboard somewhere.

Thank you for this. I've already replaced my original charger bc it conked out. The replacement charger has been working well until recently. I'm gonna crack open my lenovo and hope it's this easy to fix. Thank for the video!

This is my exact laptop and my laptop also does not turn on so I had to send it for repair and it apparently a power jack issue. I’m curious to know how did your client say it happened? 🤔

Helli, i have a s340. But it won't start while White charging light is on. Unplugged everything and re plugged. Nothing. I tried all, i think. I forgot to do something? Maybe dc jack is not charging the battery, so it won't start for that reason?

Yeah i find more and more loose screws inside the laptops all the time, maybe it is a pre-made feature of the laptop
