Honestly, hearing Simple say that a few things I did were the first time he's seen them done (more than 1 HP Bowser 1 and moving the Grand Star location) was pretty cool to hear lol, I'm glad he and what I assume to be a good number of the community seemed to enjoy this. I'm content with the placement I got on my 2nd ever hack :)

Honestly, the optical illusion platforms are my favorite piece of this.
They're so simple and yet hit you so hard.
Also the wiggler is great, I think it might have been even funnier to give it to a scuttlebug and turn that into a warp with a boss.

I’d say give it a shot, no one makes the perfect hack first try and you’ll learn some unique skills in the process.
I'm always like "I'm having such a sour day that there's no way this SimpleFlips video will actually be enjoyable" and then within 45 seconds something has made me laugh. "Want to save time? Read the sign on your right." That's already an absurd statement and a ridiculous setting for that joke, it made me do that thing where you exhale out your nose more than normal. Also I just noticed the model for the Ethan shirts wtf is that what you look standing up Simple?!

Honestly, sometimes the best troll hacks are the simple ones. Take the vanilla game and screw with it in several subtle but meaningful ways and you get some pretty solid laughs.

the new lie detector feature in 1.3 has really improved gameplay for newer players but the wiki isn't specific on whether it detects a statement that's objectively false even if simpleflips believes it to be true, or if it only detects things simpleflips says that he knows are lies. hopefully the devs make this more clear in future as it will affect the competitive viability of the item
