You know I just found about about them a few weeks ago and this dude blows Alex Terrible out the water. Alex gets all this praise, but there's better vocalists out there. To me hes not the beast people say he is.

A Japanese experimental noisegrind band produced by Kurt Ballou of Converge. Ryo Kinoshita (the current vocalist of Crystal Lake) is a fan of them as well. I don't really know what to say to convince you to react to them but THE VOCALIST...just...please. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

That crazy high vocal in the beginning to me sounds like an insane pig squeal with some distortion and a fairly heavy chorus effect added in post
Just found this video. Never knew you analyzed Dane's vocals. This is my favorite band. His vocals were what got me trying to learn how to do proper harsh vocals. A couple of years later and I've done vocal covers for about 17 of their songs lol. I'm no Dane, but, damn, their songs are so fun to scream to

Dude I just recently saw them with Carnifex, Signs of the Swarm, The Last 10 Seconds of Life and Errors of Humanity (if you haven't heard of Errors of Humanity, I recommend their track Honor Killing. It's so good) but I got to see To The Grave up in the front row and I actually got Dane Evans to sign my shirt! He was such a nice guy and they fuckin tore it up on their first US tour!

The dude xan actually do that nast ass scream at the beginning. He has a cover of in gerats wake i think where he does it for a couple seconds. Im sure it has some effect on it but he sounds pretty damn close, its nuts.

There’s a band called Beyond Deviation who’s vocalist hits a whistle tone scream that’s very very close to that effect. There’s a video of him doing in studio with no effects. It’s almost possible to hit that though
If you want other bands that do that yell that you found interesting I would check out Dealer, Johhny Booth, or Alpha Wolf thats pretty much their signature sound 😁 cool analysis of this song though! Loved it!
