Let’s get that idle stop working the right way, OFF by default! Turns off your idle stop system at every startup. You can still use the idle stop system whenever desired by pressing the button and turning it back off. No matter the last setting used, it will always default to OFF automatically
EXCELLENT! Just installed in 2021 Accord. Instructions are perfect, installation was easy, and it works as expected. Couldn't be happier!! If I want to turn my engine off in the middle of the road in a high traffic area, it will once again be MY CHOICE! Thank you!!!!

Just installed in my Accord. It took me less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Great instructions and great product. No more pressing that button!
I own a 9th gen Accord (has VCM... The other bane of Hondas). While I don't have the idle stop feature, this is an incredibly brilliant bypass.
This, and a VCM disabler, and a newer V6 Honda or Acura product will last forever. Great product! Keep it up!!!

Thanks for your interest and Yes! It will work on an Accord Sport. The idlestopper works on ANY trim level of accord except for hybrid versions.

Do you or will you be producing a similar product for any other brands? Great device to have to disable a needless feature.
Unfortunately, we are solely focused on Honda and Acura vehicles. The device would work on other makes and models but figuring out install and long-term testing for all makes and models is hard to do and I would not put out a product that wasn’t fully tested first for compatibility.

Can you just unplug the idle stop switch and it be done? Or it’s gonna keep coming on even with that switch unplugged?
Unfortunately unplugging the idle stop switch will cause multiple warning lights to come on and remove your ability to turn off the idle stop system. Honda did not make a simple workaround for disabling the idle stop system other than pressing the off button each time you drive.
I got the idle stopper. I just installed it. Is it ok to let it hang? I didn’t have anything to mount it with.
It’s totally fine not being tied up. You could have used the supplied zip tie to fasten it to the vehicle harness but it really doesn’t matter or require to be supported
Why have a gap on the conector?, seems like a problem waiting to happen.
Gap is because there’s no mating connector made. These 2 “male” end connectors are held together fine on the tabs. There is a small piece of felt included to cover the gap and the connection is very tight and stable.
Can you still use remote start with the idlestopper?
Yes! The remote start system will work normally and is unaffected by the Idlestopper.

Will this void any factory warranty?
The Idlestopper will not void your warranty, the manufacturer isn’t allow to void your entire warranty legally because of the Moss/Magnusson Act that was passed some time ago. At most, the dealer could deny a warranty claim on the power outlet and idle stop switch as they are connected directly to the device (and that’s only if they can PROVE the Idlestopper was the fault) All other vehicle systems and parts would still be fully protected under your normal warranty and cannot be affected by you installing the module into your vehicle. The Idlestopper is designed to not fail in any way that can damage the vehicle. It’s a very minimally invasive installation and have no issues with compatibility or durability. It does not reprogram or change any factory settings, it simply presses the off button electronically

Mostly the same but the wire tap is no longer necessary. The updated video removed this part and added the full plug and play connections in its place!

It will not void your warranty on your car. At most, if determined to be at fault, they could deny a warranty claim only on the parts the Idlestopper is connected to(idle stop switch and the console power socket) Otherwise the Idlestopper doesn’t reprogram or change any function of your vehicle’s computer or electrical systems. It simply presses the button electronically😉

The Idlestopper won’t void your warranties. At most the dealer could deny a claim on the components “directly” attached to the module(I.E. power socket, idle stop off switch) and that’s only IF they can prove the Idlestopper was the cause of the fault. What warning light comes up on the dash after installing this ?
There’s no warning lights that appear from installing the module. The auto idle stop OFF light on the dash will turn on when the idlestopper operates just as if you manually disabled the system via the factory off button.
