  • It's the last ever round of the MX Nationals series and what a track - the iconic but brutal Hawkstone Park in a swealtering hot day.
The MX1 and MX2 titles both went down to the last motos of the day. In the MX1 class, Conrad Mewse survived a last lap spill to take the overall win and his first ever 450 title from his Honda team mate Josh Gilbert and Yamaha's Harri Kullas.
And in the MX2 class, a titanic battle for the title all came down to the last moto when veteran Carlton Husband finally took his first ever pro title after more than a decade of trying. He won by just two points from Joe Brookes and Jamie Wainwright.
But the class on the day was won by KTM privateer Dylan Walsh from rookie Charlie Heyman and Dylan Woodock, as Billy Askew made his pro debut and ran second in the opening moto.
It was a fitting and spectacular end to the decade-old series that will have a rebrand and an all-new format in 2024.
