- Grab yourself a drink, and hike with us on the Kungsleden. At the end of August 2022, we hiked the Kungsleden from Hemavan to Abisko. The Kungsleden is a beautiful long distance trail that takes you about 440 km through the wilderness of Swedish Lapland.

just watched your docu/movie about your hiking journey across the Kungsleden, wowwowwow... i so very much absolutely enjoyed watching your hiking adventure, so beautifully filmed!! I hiked part of it 14 years ago and am very much looking forward to hike it again but this time from beginning to end, though it will be autumn 2025 as this autumn i'm planning to go for three weeks to Scotland hiking a couple of different trails in Glenn Affric, the Knoydart and Skye after haven't hiked for a very long time. But i must say that watching your adventure really wakened the desire in me to hike the Kungsleden again. I'm impressed by how you put all the drone filming and other filming together to such a great video, absolútely stúnning!! I've watched quite a lot of hiking video's already but yours is really good and very inspiring to watch! I'm very interested and curious though how you organised the food parcel matter though, as that is something i will have to work out how to do that and when/how to get the parcels at specific destinations along the trail. Sorry for my long response but here's a very enthusiastic dutchman. And i absolutely agree, if the weather coöperates, the autumn colors in the far north of Sweden are so immensely beautiful, there's no question about that (seeing the northern lights though would be absolutely stunning.... hopefully i will be able by then - fingers crossed). Thumbs up for this magnificient video!!!

Once you have experienced the "Fjällen" or the mountains they never leave you. There will always be a pull, an desire to return. The views, the quiet and the stillness. But the nature is never quiet, just a different pallet of sounds compared to our urban city life.

superleuke video. kun je uitleggen hoe je dat pakket verstuurd hebt, hoe kom je aan een willende ontvanger, en hoe je geregeld hebt dat iemand het zolang voor je bewaart?
Dankjewel! We hebben een mailtje gestuurd naar de betreffende hutten en het op die manier afgestemd. Soms moet je per dag dat het er ligt iets bijbetalen, maar het gebeurt gelukkig vaker dus alles is vrij makkelijk te regelen. Opgestuurd met PostNL.

Im watching now. thank you. I start hiking Aug 16 this year - I noticed that first supermarket was closed. was it closed for the season? I plan to get supplies as I hike
Do you mean the supermarket where we picked up our first package? That one was closed on Sundays, if I remember it correctly all supermarkets on the trail were closed on Sundays, but maybe it's best to contact them. Enjoy! :)

Ik ben wel een beetje jaloers op het rendier dat jullie hebben gezien. Ik heb de Kungsleden in 2022 gelopen, ook van Hemavan naar Abisko, maar ik heb in de 21 dagen geen enkele eland opf rendier gezien :(
Wat een super mooie video! Ik ga de wandeling deze zomer maken en krijg er door deze film extra veel zin in. Weet jij of er online kaarten /apps zijn waarom ook de emergency hutten staan afgebeeld? Lijkt me handig om te weten waar ze precies zijn, zodat ik het zo uit kan kienen dat ik daar kan lunchen (lekker warm en aan een tafel eten!).
Dankjewel, super leuk, het is een prachtige wandeling! Of er een specifieke app is weet ik niet, maar wij gebruikten map out (helaas alleen voor iPhone), daar stonden de hutten en shelters op aangegeven. Verder kun je in het Kungsleden boekje ook goed zien waar je kunt schuilen. Succes en veel plezier!

Amazing video 🔥🔥🔥 But my mindset is when so many people are hiking the Kungsleden trail than it‘s a no go for me. Than I will follow my big idol Emelie Forsberg and run the whole 440 and something kilometers 😍 I want to do something that is challenging me and hiking it‘s in my mind „to easy“. Of course over that kind of distance hiking isn’t easy either but running is my reason for being here on this plant 🔥🫡 I connect best with nature while running. Hiking is to slow for me energy wise 😃 Thank you for that footage to learn more about Kungsleden 🔥🔥🔥
