- In this little tutorial i show how to retopologize a head in Zbrush, in order for you to have lower subdivision or a ready model to put in 3dmax or other program. I am using ZRemesher Guides and Zremesher itself. As well as UV Master plugin, which comes with every copy of Zbrush since forever.

Thank you! Very clear.
you deserve the like bro ;) greetings from egypt ^_^
this is just genious!!!
so cool ! amazing
Thank you, you saved my model
Super awesome!!!!! Thanks
re the uv master I find it best to make the red area cover most of the front of the head and ears, then the blue line i draw really thick down the back of the head/neck works really well. if you have a cap on the neck, it distorts the whole shape, so best to make that a separate uv group
Спасибо за уроки!!! Здорово!
Nice tutorial!!!!
good job beutiful model
Thanks a lot for the tutorial.very helpful.please post realistic texure on this face.
best tutorial
ohmg you just saved me from a three week stop do to retopology issues. this tutorial is amazing. i am assuming this works just as well on body and hands ect.
Yeah mostly it works. But this is not the most optimal retopology for animation. For that you will have to do some manual work :)
very very goooood job thanks
great content, I also love your english cuz sounds just like mine lol. subscribed
thank you dear,, it was very useful, i have watched it a couple of time and thanks once again.
Wow, couple of times. I didn't realize it was that interesting. I should watch it myself again :). Thank you!
@@SpeedChar each word you say is valuebale for us, so trying to understand what you say, your tone, where ur eyes move and what you emphazise on, each details matters master! thank you, you are mostly into characters and you said max too, a detailed tutorial project, with step by step in a playlist of each step would boom up your views. thanks. its something which would need a lotta work but be worth it in upcoming years.
viewed 3 more times and counting while i do this tutorial, could it be possible to explain how to correct the polygon problem which we get near the nose 9:22, can we do the same retopo and unwrap with the eyes too ?
Wow Good job
Thank you 🙇🏾♀️
Just right!!! Thanks!
Thank you!

I’ll like to know more about this
you are a bless
Perfect
Thank u so much
Thanks!!!
love u coworker
hey dude, nice tut, what's about texel density for this workflow, I think the uv mapping is ok , but is some case of projection , nose are stretch, or texel density behaviour with this classic uv method... but for saving time and good result I think is very good... I notice there are a huge advantage if the HIgh poly model has the same uv as the lowpoly geometry.
The advantage for the high poly to be the subdivision of the low is that you can export a displacement map from Zbrush. And for the uvs, Zbrush is making maybe the best unwrapping of all programs I know of :). I usually make the seams in Max and then unwrap in Zbrush.
thanks you~^^
Thank you so much!! defiantly beats manually retopologising in maya.
why didn't my Uni show me this 😅
you are great man
Thank you so much
Thank you so so so so so mush 😭
Thanks
Uuuuuu thank you!
THANKS
MERCIIIIIIIIII !
i have a question..i have been keeping an eye out for your Zbrush Orc and Bull course . which is one of the best course. i haven;t bought it yet. but after seeing previews and reviews. i will definitely buy it. my question is that..in that course you said That course is for intermediate students. i have seen michael pavlovich videos. and quiet familier with UI and tools. but i haven't really started sculpting yet. should i get this course?. i mean i am looking for my first sculpt practice. what do you recommend. i even set up and own UI and Hotkeys. but i am afraid to start sculpt
It is dirty cheap in my opinion, the course. In most developed countries you will spend more for one lunch, so i don't know what is stopping you :). And for the fear, i have it always a bit. It will go away with the practice. To go with my videos you need to know basic navigation around Zbrush, Masking, hiding and unhiding parts of the geometry, and other basic stuff.
thank youuuu
Has the algorithm for Zremesher been improved? I haven't tried using it in a couple of years, but in Zbrush 4R8 I tried pretty much these same guide lines and got nowhere near this clean of results.
Yes, algo recently improved
You can hold down 'Alt' to use an alternative zremesh algo
Seriously.... If you don't do it already... You should teach professionally. Simple, to the point, no bs. Good stuff
Thank you. Are planning to make tutorial about rigging in Zbrush by the way?
I dont use the rigging in Zbrush at all. When I pose my models I always pose them by masking and moving.
if is not working how to get the low poly in zbrush and thanks
Thanx
is it ready for animation? is there any need to tweak it again in other softwares???
Yes it should be tweaked in max or maya or blender or similar. If you play and experiment more in Zbrush probably you can make it a bit readier, but for animation it should be tweaked.
