You're right, this clip was designed to introduce Fami to the world. You will also be able to watch them LIVE next year in the US as Lovebites will be the second headliner at ProgPower USA XXIII at Atlanta on Day 3, 6 September 2024.
Haruna wrote the music and lyrics to this song (Asami translated the lyrics). It is the *Only* song or lyrics by Haruna. She wrote it for her old band Destrose (Miho - Lovebites founder and original bassist was her bandmate in Destrose), but Destrose disbanded in 2015 and _they_ never recorded it. Great reaction guys. 🤘🐺🤘
Haruna's hobby as a drummer is making small accessories, and she also has a mail order business on her page. She came up with a way to reuse cymbals that were no longer serving their purpose as musical instruments, and brought them to a local factory to have them processed into star shapes and made into drum accessories.
Star cymbals became her trademark.

Thanks for your reaction. MV 'Bravehearted' was the presentation of Fami as the new bassist of LOVEBITES ( October 2022). Before the release of MV, no one knew who became the new bassist as a result of the qualifying competition (April - August 2022).
Therefore, in this MV, the most time was devoted to Fami (shots with Fami or shots of Fami together with other members of the band). It's logical. Including when Miyako was shredding her guitar solo, the camera mainly showed Fami.
LOVEBITES always perform all their songs in English (Albums, concerts). Only 'Bravehearted' exists in 2 versions: Japanese ( 'The Lovebites' EP, 2017) and English (Album 'Awakening from Abyss', 2017).
Check out LOVEBITES performing 'Bravehearted' in concert ('Daughters of the Dawn - Live in Tokyo 2019'). The concert version, in my opinion, is more interesting (energy of the hall, etc.). You will be able to see in more detail how Miyako and Midori perform solos, etc.
P.S. If you take fewer pauses, your perception of the song will be completely different.🤗
There exists a great live version of this song, where you can see them shred. Bravehearted is a popular song among the Lovebites fandom, as it is their only song composed by drummer Haruna so far, plus the structure is quite unique. I absolutely love the guitar solos on this track.
Fun things about this specific performance
1. This was the last song LOVEBITES played live in concert with former bassist Miho before the band went on hiatus and it’s also the first song the band played since hiring Fami.
2. As others have mentioned this song was written by the Drummer Haruna and it’s the only song that has two versions (Japanese and English) the Japanese version is available on the EP “The LOVEBITES EP” (2017) and the English version is available on the full album “Awakening from Abyss” (2017).

OMG... "Bravehearted" live at Tokio 2019, that is *THE* live version of Lovebites. The pinnacle of their skills and vibe at that time. Metal excellence and live show power to melt faces, and to blow any roof off. 😲
Sometimes I wish for some Metal Masters (and Mistresses) sample DVD: "Iron Maiden" with "Moonchild", "Lovebites" with "Breavehearted", and "Nemophila" with "Seize the fate". All of it live, of course. What a "killer" DVD that would be. 😲 🐺

Fami (new bassist) fits in just perfectly. When she joined Lovebites, she was almost more famous (as a single artist) then them. 😂 Fami is a lady of many talents: She is immensely creative, a genius on the bass guitar, a wild dancer, and a happy smiler. 😁 I expect her to open an additional creative dimension for Lovebites. 😊 She might just be the perfect musician and friend for them to "take off" internationally. 🐺

They almost always sing in English. The only exception is the original version of this very song from their intro EP (self-titled "Lovebites" EP). It was re-recorded in English for their debut full-length album Awakening from Abyss.
Haruna makes star symbols for each member of band and she actually spins them not plays them

All of Lovebites songs are in English except for this song which has two versions; it was issued in Japanese first then in English later. Fami is a new member. She was 20 years old in this video. Trivia. Fami is her stage name and it's from the mega chain store FamilyMart in Japan. Fami loves the store. Fami has had her own channel for many years and has more subscribers than Lovebites the band with total views amounting to in many millions. Fami is a slap bass master.
What's crazy is that they don't speak English however most, if not all their song are in English. Amazing. This song is if the Phantom of the Opera was heavy metal!

I take that back it seems you found the whole song from this session I had only seen the shortened version released to introduce Fami.

Ironically only one video by lovebites is in Japanese the original version of Bravehearted written by Haruna Asami helped translate it to English the version you are reacting to is a shortened version of the song made to showcase Fami.
If I'm not mistaken, this is actually the full version of the song. I could be wrong, but I'll have to go back and listen to the original again to see if they cut something out, but I think it is the whole thing. The "shortened version" is the one they used for Fami's original introduction video, which only included a couple of the verses.
Their studio recordings tend to be too heavy on the synths for my taste and since they're at least as good live, I prefer live 🙂

Expect Fami, who is in her early twenties, all of then are in their mid thirty. Haruna is the shortest around almost 5 feet and I guess that Miyako is the tallest, around 5 ft 7in. If some one has better date, please correct me.

Asami write the lyrics in English e all the more 60 songs are in English. This is recorded live in studio! I could suggest you the other song: Stand and deliver live studio!

I agree with the bass man. It is a great shame that the camera man missed intense shredding of Miyako. I hate that too. The camera man must've been thinking of his lunch or something.
The operatorhas nothing to do with this. 🤗The operator(s) only films with the camera(s). Several takes of the song performance are preliminarily filmed in the studio (possibly with several cameras). Then the video editor selects frames from different takes and edits the video (combining frames) .

Yes, LoveBites sings in English, but with a HEAVY Japanese accent. While on the other hand Band Maid sings mostly in Japanese with some English parts, their vocals are a bit clearer. I actually wish they'd swap singers. Because I like LoveBites music more, as it's more on that Power Metal side as opposed to just modern Traditional Metal/Hard Rock sound of Band Maid.
